Wonderful staff, good selection of pastries. Cat petting is a plus. Space to study or meet up. If you aren't sure what to drink, as for recommendations... staff had great ideas!!! Visit local artist offerings upstairs.

An absolute delight of a cafe. To start off, the ambiance and layout of the cafe was amazing. It was very cute and aesthetic with comfy couches, live plants, and a refreshing atmosphere. They also had the cat room sectioned off from the cafe, which allows for food safety and no risk of contamination on their drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly and forthcoming with the rules and guild lines for the cat room. I also adored their coffee. I ordered a dirty chai latte, half expecting the Starbucks chai syrup that every cafe seems to put into their chai lattes. Surprisingly though, their chai latte was delicious and clearly made with a legitimate chai leaf blend. And although I didn't order one, I appreciated that they had gluten free and vegan snack options, it was unexpected but very welcome. Now moving onto the cat room. It was an incredibly spacious room with many nooks and play areas for the kitties to spread out. The cats were very friendly and social which was a nice surprise. It was a very quiet room, and it didn't smell at all of litter the way many cat cafes did. All in all, I really enjoyed this location 10/10

If you have children under five who LOVE cats, this is NOT the place for you! If you have children below the age of fifteen and they love cats but you don't, this is NOT the place for you! If you want a delicious beverage while you interact with felines, this is STILL NOT the place for you! If you are looking for somewhere you can overpay for disgusting drinks, overpay for petting cats, and have no children, this place is perfect for you! The atmosphere of this place is absolutely horrible, and I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy.

I love cats, but I would not go here to see any. Not only are the employees insanely rude, they can't follow drink directions. I went in to see some cats and get a coffee. Huge mistake. I wanted an iced salted caramel mocha and they just gave me a salter caramel. I asked it to be remade and told them the correct drink but they still made a salted caramel. The whole time the baristas were so rude, I really wanted to cry. When I was finally able to see the cats it was such a small room! Very weird and uncomfortable!!! I felt so bad for the cats. I honestly think this place should be shut down. Everything about this place was weird and made me so depressed to be around stressed cats and very mean baristas

This coffee shop is so peaceful. It's a go to when I want to get work done! They have such a large amount of menu items to choose from. The staff has always been kind towards me and my friends and family. I'm severely allergic to cats, but the Catfé recognizes that people have allergies to cats and are very inclusive of those who are. They have several air purifiers in their house and the cats are enclosed in a glass room. You can choose to play with the cats or stay away from them. Everyone is comfortable, and everyone is loved at Gem City Catfé.

This cafe is much more spacious than expected with parking available in the back as well--I missed it the first time because it's in the back alley. There is lots of seating on the first floor and additional spots on the second floor for working and hanging out. The chai latte left something to be desired but it was a great price so can't complain too much. It cost $10 to see the kitties for an hour but they weren't very interactive as advertised--although there were plenty of cute adoptable kitties. It was nice that the barista gave us snacks for the cats so they came out of hiding. They also offer a discounted price with the purchase of a membership if you desire to be with the kitties often.
