Exactly the kind of place you want to go. This is a fine, colorful, family oriented local establishment that survived covid and continues to stack up victories when it comes to food. It's the food that matters. This place isn't going to win any Architectural Digest Awards, but I bet if they spent a bunch of money on the building everything would cost a hell of a lot more. Baked Italian is 100%, Smashburger is 100%, I keep hitting those over and over because they're just that good. That stated, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Go to Hank's Local. Just go. Now.

Cool spot to grab some drinks or a bite to eat. It's got a little bit of a dive bar vibe, but in a good way. Staff was friendly and the service was timely. Excellent french fries. My burger was a little greasy, but I enjoyed every bite of it. Solid number of beers on tap for a place this size. I'm withholding my 5th star until I come back again, try some more food, maybe catch some music or enjoy their outdoor space. Hope to be back soon!

Food is mediocre. Burgers need seasoning! It was drenched in grease and the meat was flavorless. Fries were the best part. Pretzel bites ok, nothing special. Probably won't go back. Same as a hundred other bars with a kitchen.

The worst service I have ever had at a pub in the area. Server was more interested in her people sitting at the bar than the ones sitting in the dining room. Horrible. Will never eat in
Service was mediocre, but the food was good. The portion sizes were big and for a fair price. The place can be a little crowded when a good band is playing, but the people that frequent Hank's are friendly. I felt safe and comfortable enough to enjoy myself throughout the night.
