Not sure if it was due to “a new cook” or just a change in ingredients, but none of the familiar menu items (like potato soup) tasted like original, and several meals were completely messed up like lacking sun dried tomatoes in a dish that called for them or no sauce in a pasta dish. Severs did the best they could to compensate several messed up orders, but our party never saw or heard from management at all, and we left with a changed opinion of the restaurant.

I got the sampler and chips/salsa. Honestly the worst food I have Ever ordered! The best part was the dasher was fast! Chips had grease dripping out and taters were burnt to a crisp. The chicken was barely there. Maybe a finger nail! Not a finger! First & Last!

Had the peach grilled chicken meal. The mashed sweet potatoes were WAY overloaded with sugar and cinnamon. Server quickly brought some with no toppings to correct the issue. Steamed broccoli was neither cooked through nor hot. The chicken's peach chutney topping was great with a nice bit of bite to it in the finish. The chicken breast itself, however, was very flat and smallish. Overall, not a good meal. The server was friendly, but our drinks often sat empty and requests for things were unevenly fulfilled. So, just not a very good experience. Plank salmon meal was very good as was the fish and chips, though the "chips" were not very warm when served either. To top it all off, we were seated near the windows and the A/C was cranking out super cold air, but there was no sun to offset the chill on this particular day. So, the just so-so food temps quickly dropped from just OK to inedible. Not a good typical O'Charleys experience.

We were here for over 2 hours. Everyone seemed to work in slow motion. We ordered food and drinks at the same time since we were seated for 30 minutes before our server came by. Then another 20-25 minutes before drinks. When the food came everyone’s came out except one. They had to wait 15 minutes longer for their food because “another server took it”. Food came out cold. We asked for pie when we got refills, we got refills and waited even longer for our server to come see what pies we wanted. When one of us asked if a certain item was included our server got an attitude and said “uh. No.” This will definitely be on our list of places not to come back to.

5/15/2023I visited this place on April 30th as it was my daughter's 17th birthday. This is the 2nd time I've eaten here. The last time was 7 yrs ago on my mom's 65th birthday. In all of that time my daughter remembered how delicious O'Charley's rolls were. So that's where she had her meal. Of course she was super basic and got chicken tenders & fries, her friend got the mac -n- cheese with chicken pieces on top (it was actually good) and I got loaded nachos (their version of loaded nachos) and a loaded baked potato. The potato was the bomb! For the most part the nachos were delicious....that also had chicken in it. The only complaint I have is that O'Charley needs to get a better brand of tortilla chips....they were so flavorless that if I weren't seeing myself EAT the chips I could swear I was eating CARDBOARD!!! Absolutely NO TASTE, NO SALT, NO FLAVOR! Other than that the food was alright. Maybe next time I'll bring my own tortilla chips & swap theirs out.....PURCHASE BETTER TASTING TORTILLA CHIPS O'CHARLEY!!!

We recently visited O'Charleys celebrating their 50 year anniversary. In the past kids have always eaten free with parents meals but since Covid this has been a promotion that they have not repeated until recently, this was our first time eating in the restaurant instead of ordering carry out I was surprised that on a Saturday at 1 PM there was not a lot of people in the restaurant, I went ahead and ordered the ribs and chicken tender meal. I was a little surprise when the meal came out and the chicken tenders look like small chicken fingers. The baby back ribs were OK. Falling off the bone but unfortunately not in a good way. I did enjoy the baked potato and mac & cheese. For $20 I guess it's not bad however, I think there's other options around town that maybe better for the money spent. I also don't know if you can get more dinner rolls after you finish your basket. The rolls were lukewarm and on the dry side. We never got offered another basket of rolls while eating dinner. The overall restaurant is very clean which is a plus. However, they must be short staffed because we watched a table sit full of plates after the meal that went unclean until after we finished our meal. It's also too bad they no longer have prime rib.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu include drinks

We came in today (on a Friday night) with 45 people in our party. Every order correct and fast. Heidi, Brandi, and Chelsea served us and were so friendly and incredibly efficient. I am amazed by the cooks ability to serve everything hot and delicious with zero mistakes. The manager was so kind as well. This was a wonderful experience. Coming back here for sure! Thank you

Along with 5 others, we were seated within minutes on Easter Sunday. Our waitress was wonderful. It had been a while since I had been to O'Charlies, and I was a little disappointed that some of my favorites weren't on the menu.

O’charley’s has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. I’m not sure if all stores are as bad as this one on Miller Ln in Dayton Ohio but I can imagine if they are I feel like the end is near for the franchise. The service was awkward, some random people were friendly but overall not well received. A gentleman brought out our food and asked if we needed anything else so we asked for refills on our water and instead of refilling the water the guy said he would find our waitress. She didn’t come back until we were ready to leave. The rolls were not warmed, they tasted like they were taken out of a bag and put in our basket. We were given black paper plates instead of the usual glass plate. The loaded potato soup was watered down and not real warm. The steak was gray in color and looked/tasted boiled. The chicken tenders were not the famous chicken tenders. I’m guessing they ran out of them and resorted to store bought frozen tenders. We will never be back unless drastic changes are made. Such a disappointment to a once amazing place.

Very polite staff. Had a nice quiet lunch with the family. Was a little disappointed in the Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich, as the piece of chicken was small and overwhelmed by the bread. Everyone agreed that the french fries were top notch.

Ate lunch at the one on Miller Road on 3/3/23. Had the seafood platter, the fish was ok but the shrimp was chewy like it was overcooked or re-warmed up. Only got one refill on my tea. I can see why the place wasn't crowded. The food and service was not good.

We ate at o Charley's tonight in Dayton, OH and something is off; in college, I worked at O Charley's in Nashville and nothing was right tonight. Everything was mini sized...side salad, artichoke dip. I ordered the steak, ribs and chicken fingers,,, steak had no seasoning, Ribs were too hard to eat, chicken fingers were smaller than chicken nuggets. I asked my waiter, these aren't true chicken fingers and she said, I saw that. And she just walked away. Loaded potato soup was water logged. This was a terrible experience. Is the place closing??!!

The food might have been the worst I've ever had, and I've eaten undercooked Afghan goat kebobs before. The grey squishy steak looks like it was boiled most of the day, the ribs were not great, and the tenders were ok. The service was actually really great as we were a large party.

I ordered the ribs and chicken strips with fries and mac and cheese. The chicken strips were soggy and had no seasoning. The ribs were dry from the day before. The mac and cheese tasted like cafeteria food. The service was just okay, even though my drink stayed empty the entire time. They had a good mix of regular music and some Christmas music so it didn't eat away at your soul being there for more than a half hour.I don't plan on going back.
