CHECK WHAT YOU ARE CHARGEDAfter being served a raw burger, raw, bitter steak, and undercooked fries, I was told that all they could do is knock 5$ off of the ticket. Not only that, the steak and frittes (which is listed to come with green beans and a demi-glaze, NEITHER of which I received) was listed on their menu as $19, but rang up as 23$. When I brought this up, all they said they could do for charging me wrong and not including half of the things the menu listing had was give me 5$ more off, even though a side of green beans cost $3 by itself. The waitress asked what side I wanted with my hamburger, instead of saying that it comes with fries, so I was charged 3$ for coleslaw. My hamburger had raw meat on the outside and inside of it. The bottom piece of bread was soaked in something and soggy. The steak was asked for medium rare and was rare if not blue rare (see pictures). The char on the steak was so bitter it was all you could taste when you ate the steak. The fries that came with the steak were undercooked and soggy.I will update my review if I get food poisoning from the hamburger.

We were staying at the Hope Hotel which is conveniently connected to Packy’s, and they hand out Packy Bucks for your stay, so we went down to check them out our first night in town looking for my husband a place to live while he will be working here all I can say is the green beans and mashed potatoes were the bomb! I ate them twice while we were visiting and the New York Strip was great too and I DEFINITELY CANNOT LEAVE VAN OUT SHE IS THE BEST EVER! Whatever you do wherever you go in that town PLEASE go see Van you will not be disappointed from her friendliness once you walk in the door to her specialty drinks the bartender is WHAT ALL BARTENDERS should be! Keep Rockin Van! I wanna be you when I grow up!

Our family loved Packy's, but something has changed. All of their wait staff, managers, and cooks seem to have left. They also made significant changes changes to their menu that are simply worse. The current staff is trying their best, but we had a pretty awful experience. Most orders were wrong and what did arrive was overcooked. We hope they get it together soon, but we're going to give Packy's a break for a couple months.

I ate dinner with friends. We were seated quickly and ordered our food because the restaurant was not very busy. I ordered a turkey wrap, which was delicious. There are games to play. There is plenty of television to watch sports. I will come back with friends.

Stopped in for a snack and drink. Van, Vickie and Cindy were super friendly. Van is very knowledgeable with cocktails and has a few of her own she creates. Quite delicious!

This is definitely a hidden gem, especially with Van as the bartender! Open to the public. Food was excellent, I recommend the chorizo burger! Fantastic flavor. We had the privilege of sitting at the bar and chatting with Van. Service was exceptional, she went above and beyond. I was even able to try one her original recipe cocktails. Will definitely return in hopes she is working.

We were staying at the Hope Hotel & decided to take advantage of the ten cent beer & stayed for a few more drinks. We sat at the bar & I can't say enough about the bartender, Van. She's fabulous! Very attentive, friendly & does a great job. She's funny as heck & anticipates your needs before you even know you want/need. The bar was packed & she knew what everyone was having & connected with every person, from the Brits visiting, to the girl who had oral surgery 6 weeks ago. She's good at her job & you can tell she enjoys what she does. If we didn't live in TX we'd be back often just to chat with her.

We sat down and it took 20 minutes for a server to come to us only to tell us that they weren't serving food, only drinks. At least there was good company/atmosphere.

Great place!I came here at the recommendation of one of my friends, and I was not disappointed. Their happy hour deals are impossible to beat, and the staff is amazing. If you like a little sarcasm, sit at the bar (Van was an amazing bartender), but if you're looking for a more traditional setting, seat you're at any table (Vicky served us). I got a few beers and their dinner buffet... $0.10 for my first beer, and the buffet was $15. The food was absolutely fantastic. Before that though, I got 6 wings for $5 as an appetizer in their garlic parmesan sauce. They were also fantastic!I can't rave enough about this place, especially the bar service that Van provided. Super chill atmosphere, and it's not too busy, so you get a lot of time to chat with the servers.Absolutely 5/5 in every aspect!!

Had to wait over an hour and 15 minutes to get food. The cod fritters were disgusting, so much salt they weren't edible. The chicken on the salad were like leather. Manager didn't care.
