I needed a quality cake on short notice for my first anniversary with my wife. Fresh Start made it so easy to order with online ordering. I got a simple vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream icing. I had mentioned it was for a wedding anniversary as well. They made a beautiful cake for the occasion. I couldn't have been happier with what we paid for. The butter cream was delicious and the cake was soft and tasted like home. I'll be back for more in the future.

I called because I needed a Vegan cake for my son and now daughter in laws Wedding which was on December 17,2023. They were so very friendly answered all my question for my daughter in law has allergies to eggs, peanuts all tree nuts. Vegan cake with butter cream icing and cupcakes were delicious. I highly recommend Fresh Start Cafe and Bakery. Thanks to you all here's pictures of the cake and cupcakes. Walked in and 3 people were standing at the register. Two staffers were behind the register and not once were we acknowledged, not once did anyone say, " sorry for the wait, " or anything. Finally, the first two people that were standing at the register left. Two more people came in and left. Business is walking out the door. At least acknowledge the people at the register.

Friendly staff with delicious-looking baked goods. The atmposphere is lacking; unfinished painted walls with glaring office lights, it's not the coziest. Unfortunately the espresso drinks were not made correctly. Way too large for both the cortado and cappucino. Tasted like watery milk with no coffee flavor. It's rare to find good espresso and this place falls victim to poor execution and training for its employees. Cortados are supposed to be small, 4-6oz max. Why serve it in an 8 ounce cup meant for cappucinos? Why distinguish between the two options on the board if the baristas don't understand the difference. Not worth the money.

Coffee is great, the sausage and egg sandwich is a little expensive but its a good size and tasty. The baristas were super nice and happy to remake my drink after someone else took it. Great place.
