I usually order the "Classic Eggs Benedict", but decided to go off the rails and ordered "The Works" omelette, side of potatoes and bacon, accompanied by some really good multigrain, whole wheat toast. Oh, and to really switch things up, instead of coffee, I had their wonderful hot chocolate with whip cream and caramel topping. I told the server the only thing missing was some teeny, tiny marshmallows under the whip cream as a nice surprise. As far as the ambience, this place is a little more upscale than the sole proprietor diner. However, the food is certainly on par.“

“Only reason I gave it 5 stars is so this can be seen. The food is mid at best, staff is decent. The MAIN reason I'll never be returning is because of candy (a server) we sat in her section and she just went missing multiple times. We sat with our food getting cold because we had no silverware and syrup. Then she comes back stinking of cigarette... after we already flagged down another server to assist us.“

“EDIT: Still a great joint, but there has to be a way to improve the seating process during busy times. There's nowhere to stand or sit, and they won't seat anyone at the round table in the back. I stood for 40 minutes with two others and half the time that table was empty. The whole counter up front should be removed to make room for customers waiting. It's truly an awful experience coming to Olympic Diner when it's busy.A rare bird of a restaurant, a local, classic diner, but with genuinely good food and service. “This is a breakfast restaurant. So it's only open until 2:30pm. They serve organic food and interesting juice combinations. My favorite is the Trifecta. I get eggs, bacon, and a large Belgian waffle, all perfectly prepared and served on a large square plate. I also opted for a juice drink called a Mango Passion Palmer, a combination of mango and passion fruit juices with green tea with a lemon wedge. It was quite good. This is a good family restaurant with a selection that should appeal to kids as well.“

Located just outside Grandview Heights, this place is very charming and has great service. Everything is made fresh. Biscuits were delicious and the sammy was satisfying. I got the egg, cheese, and sausage on a regular biscuit and really enjoyed it. We also got the special of the day with a jalapeño biscuit. It was very good and left you with a little zing. They also serve Stauf's coffee which I feel is one of the best in the city. Cute little area in the shop for eating or you can eat outside in a nice area. They even have a fire pit. There are baked good that you can purchase to go, and the menu is super diverse. This is on a plaza next to Planet Fitness. Plenty of parking available. Service was great. The sausage gravy tasted amazing, but there was too much oil at the bottom. I got my food quickly but the service was a little less attentive. I looked for a pickup sign and notice one; the lady who came to the register was very nice and grabbed it for me instead of just telling me where to go.I got the Farmer with 2 smashbrowns. “Our server Rachel was great and answered any questions I had. The restaurant is spacious. They have many cushy booths rather than uncomfortable hard chairs around tables. My omelette was cheesy, just the way I like it ? my meal came with 3 fluffy buttermilk pancakes. The syrup they use is good too. I enjoyed my coffee and fresh squeezed OJ. They bring water to the table with a 1 liter pitcher to refill yourself so you don’t have to wait for a refill when you’re thirsty. The ambiance appeared clean, except for the restrooms which needed some attention. The food we ordered arrived promptly, and the service was friendly with reasonable prices. However, the portion sizes were not substantial, and a few of us still felt hungry after the meal. The taste of the food varied depending on what each person ordered.“
