You would expect a place like this to make their fudge with a recipe that resembles home made. At least close to that. But no, this is totally processed factory-made "fudge". It has maybe 18 ingredients, including sorbital, artificial flavor, coloring, preservatives, dry milk, dry cream, and corn syrup solids. Not surprisingly, it didn't taste very good, which is what led me to check the ingredients.

Love Winans!! Especially the Grandview and Dublin locations! Super friendly staff who are always helpful! They also provide our company with all of our chocolates gifts we give out at Christmas! If you’re looking for delicious coffee and chocolate this is the only place you should go!

I have become a loyal coffee snob and will only buy Winans beans. I attended a networking event in Piqua years ago where the owners spoke about how careful they are to source and process the beans with a very different way of doing things. I was hooked. Their coffee is incredible. I drink 2 cups at home every single day. I order the cashew butter crunch in 5lb bags online. We love all the other different flavors such as the blueberry for hot or cold brew. The chocolate is also top tier. Keep expanding! I was so excited to see you open up closer to me, so I didn't have to drive to that small location by the library in Piqua anymore.
Beware of the Dublin location. Staff needs customer service training. Particularly the girl that worked until closing 12/30/23 she was extremely rude to our entire family reluctantly took our order while frowning and did not give us opportunity to order any pastries or candies. I specifically went into this shop to purchase 10 boxes of candy to send to Texas and get a 4 cups of coffee. She overfilled not leaving room for creamer and refused to throw a bit out to allow for creamer. Won’t bore you with all the details. Was completely unwarranted and unacceptable. Felt we were being racially profiled and was completely bothered by having to wait on us. Will make sure to let all my friends and family to stay clear of this location. And will be purchasing candy from another company to send to Texas since they evidently do not need my money.

I stopped by on 12/30/23 for a quick coffee (Dublin location) and needless to say I will never go to another Winans again. If you’re thinking of going to one don’t save yourself the trouble and go to Starbucks. The service was absolutely terrible and frankly racist towards me and my family. I have never been so disappointed in a local establishment. The worker was rude and threw the coffee cups towards us and to top it off she over filled everything out of anger for having to work, which meant no cream or sugar for us. Not to mention, when we walked in I received eye rolling and an employee vacuuming and not letting us pass through. So take my advice and go somewhere else that will not make your family feel uncomfortable and racially profiled.
