“This was our first time here. We came here for my birthday. Happy birthday to me! We had the pleasure of having Mai as our waitress. She gave us some good recommendations on what to try. She was very attentive in making sure we were ok. She stopped by our table several time to ask if we were ok or if we needed anything. Mai was an excellent waitress. I hope I get her next time we visit.“

“The food is delicious. The No. 20 Noodle dish (a Vietnamese dish with a spicy sauce over vermicelli noodles, with chicken, shrimp, red and green peppers and onions), and the NO. 1 soup (Tom Yun gong), a spicy, thin soup with mushrooms, large shrimps, and onion, is great. The employees are wonderful: Jen, Mae, Lily, Mike and Andy, who are visible in the dining room; as well as the employees in the kitchen. Siam is my favorite place to visit - just wish it was in my neighborhood!“

“Nothing better than cold noodles on a hot day, and Han's Sichuan Cold Noodles deliver. Most American consumers expect spice when ordering Sichuan food, but these noodles have little, instead carrying a deep savory and nutty taste (sesame paste?), with bits of cucumber on top for needed light contrast. Goes great with an ice-cold, sickly sweet canned coffee sold at the counter.“

“This is a no-nonsense kind of place. The focus is all on the food, served hot (sometimes by the very person that cooked it).Prices are reasonable, and the service is good. I have been eating here for years and have never left hungry or disappointed.“

“Look, I know this is going to sound crazy, but—So, this restaurant has the best egg rolls. It’s not even close. I mean, in the world. My egg roll consumption immediately increased from 1 to 100 (per year) after my first taste They’re crave-able. Order-on-their-own-able.But don’t.Order them alone.Because the rest of their menu is crazy good. Served hot and fresh and flavorful in all the best ways. Oh, yeah, they also have the best sweet and sour sauce. Also in the world. Freshly made in-house and noticeably less cloying as even the best of the rest. They know what they’re doing here. Trust them. Be grateful for their presence as I am. <3Also their fried rice is the best.“

“Surrounded by all the trendy E4 establishments, this unassuming place stands out, to me at least, as the best restaurant out of all of them. The food is always hot, the portions are great. I lived in the Gulf Coast, where there are tons of really good Vietnamese restaurants, and this one is on par, if not better, than all of them. It's a real gem and we love coming here often.“

“The food is always amazing and very well priced! Brings me back to China The atmosphere is minimal, a little cold in the winter, and only 1 waitress but the flavor more than makes up for it!I recommend getting 3 dishes from the family style section per 2 people; you'll have leftovers. Rice is included“

“If you have the time and the craving, do yourself a favor and visit this place! If you’re planning on dining with a group of 4+, call in ahead of time to reserve a table. Limited seating but decent atmosphere. The food is excellent and the drink selection is likewise great.“

“TASTY CHINESE EATS IN CLEVELAND! I don't know what the demographics are of Cleveland, OH but this Asia Plaza, that Li Wah Restaurant is located in, certainly gives a worthy comparison to what we have in Los Angeles, CA. The first thing when we walk into Li Wah, that strikes me, is how friendly the staff is! Everyone is smiling! Even the crabs in the water tanks are!!! I coulda sworn one of them gave me a "tip your cap" gesture as I walked by toward the bathroom! Chinese restaurants in Los Angeles RARELY smile, so this is a BIG plus! The second thing noticed was the scent of Honey Walnut Shrimp in the air! How could you NOT walk into this place with an aroma like that?!? We were visiting Cleveland to watch my son compete in a Volleyball tournament at Cleveland State University and after a long day Da Kid was craving sustenance! Smelling that scent just sucked my son in like a vacuum and made his stomach growl like a lion! Luckily Li Wah was open later in the evening because Chinese dim sum is his jam! Pleasant atmosphere, spacious dining area, AND a whole buncha Asian folk inside confirming the foods' authenticity lol! Alrighty... let's eat! WALNUT SHRIMP with CREAMY SAUCE: HAD to order this just because of that aroma in the air and it did not disappoint! Slight carmelization yet still creamy as well, made for some really tasty shrimps that were plump & juicy. Ample broccoli florets as a border for the dish were perfectly steamed and complemented the dish perfectly. This did not last long. SHANGHAI PORK DUMPLING (their Xiao Long Bao): Comes 5 pieces per order. Not a rival to what we can get in Los Angeles or New York City, but for Cleveland, I am pretty happy with the quality of XLB that we got here. Smaller in size but the wrapper held strong when pulled from bamboo container with chopsticks. Meat inside had some flavor to it and definitely a juicy explosion when you bit into each dumpling. Not bad, Cleveland... not bad at all. SPICY SALT & PEPPER SQUID: Yummy YUMMY!! Big plate of squid pieces perfectly deep fried, that had nice flavor and heat to it. Not gummy at all. I'd order this again! HONG KONG STYLE VANCOUVER CRAB: Big dish of shelled crab pieces battered, flavored, and deep fried. Pretty big serving, probably better to be shared, than eaten solo. VERY GOOD FLAVOR TO IT! Not sure how they can flavor the meat inside the shell but it was. My mom's loved every bite! They provide all the appropriate tools to get the meat fyi ;) PEPPER STEAK HO FUN (their Chow Fun): Another large serving here! This wide noodle dish is has a really good taste to it. The noodles are well prepared, not soft & squishy but more of a chewy gummy texture. Big chunks of steak are cooked just right so it's not chewy at all. Solid stuff. BABY BOK CHOY with GARLIC SAUCE: Had to get some fiber in so we decided on something a lil more unique than what we are use to. The garlic sauce is flavorful but garlic-ness is subtle. The Bok Choy is crisp. Big dish, good for a group of people or 1 vegetarian who wants one dish ;) VERY EASY RECOMMENDATION! A solid option for Chinese dim sum and traditional entrees in Cleveland, OH. Enjoy ;)“

“Mostly take out place with free tables. Popular. Had hot and sour soup and won ton. Excellent. Also loved chezuan beef, beef in garlic sauce, very spicy, orange beef. Did not care for either egg roll or Chinese hot dog. They also have fresh sushi but didn't have chance to try. Highlyrecommend not pricy“

“For us the food was outstanding and definitely worth the price. Despite being busy they seated us quickly despite not having a reservation. We found the service to be good and the atmosphere also quite nice.We ordered the whole bass in Szechuan chili sauce, the three cup chicken, cucumber salad and the Xiao Long Bao. All were very good. The whole bass was the star. The soup in the bao was outstanding even compared to some I’ve had in Chinatown in NYC, but in my opinion the wrappers could be thinner. Beautifully folded.Even the tea was spot on. Price was a touch high but not unreasonable considering the location and the quality. I would highly recommend. What a relief to have actual Chinese food on the east side rather than the many Americanized versions from which we’ve all ordered take out.“

“Food is quite good and very reasonably priced. I order online which costs $0.75 extra but it's worth it because I can put the special touches I want on my order and they always help me out with that. It's more of a takeout place, there are some tables but I hardly ever see anybody eating there.“

“This is a great little place. The owner and staff were very courteous. The food was excellent. Very authentic. Don't get "Thai Spicy" if you don't know what you are doing. They were very kind and accomodative of all of our requests. I highly recommend this place. While we were waiting for our food, I overheard them take a phone order so patiently and carefully that I immediately knew the food was going to be amazing. And it was!“

“Originally had it a year ago while visiting my dad. The food was very good. But when I tried their wonton soup it was amazing. I love wonton soup and most places it's good but all tastes the same. I've just moved down the street and was craving the soup. The broth is great, the wontons are just big and fat with delicious filling. Most places you're lucky it you get a dime size of filling. Highly recommend!!“

“Haven’t been here since I was a little kid and it remains excellent. Nothing trendy, just the classics done correctly. It wasn’t Sonny in the back and Lee trading barbs with my father while buttering my steamed rice like it was 35yrs ago, but it took me back. Glad we stopped.“

“They are very respectful and polite, and they have great tasting food. Ordered orange chicken combo. Came with four pieces of good-sized chicken. There is lots of fried rice and an egg roll. You may have to ask for containers so you can take the rest home and finish when you are hungry again.Parking: Large shopping center parking.“
“My girlfriend & I opted to dine via take out from Richie Chan's. She has been eating here since she returned to Cleveland two decades ago & raves about it all the time. We decided to order take out for Valentine's Day & it was fast service with generous & delicious portions. They only take cash but it's very inexpensive for the quality & quantity of food you receive. We got wonton soup, shrimp with vegetables & steamed dumplings & it was enough for two meals each for both of us! We also got organic navel oranges, fortune cookies & almond cookies as a gift (I think this may have been part of the Valentine's Day) The food was so good, we ate it before we could take photos but my girlfriend's fortune cookie says it all...wonderful food for a romantic evening. We will continue to return here. Richie Chan is the main cook & his wife, Wai, helps with food prep & takes all the orders & transactions. They are so nice & friendly it feels like your favorite aunt & uncle just invited you over for dinner. Having lived in PRC, I can attest to the genuine taste of their Cantonese, Hunanese, Mongolian & Mandarin dishes. It is also a true bargain for what you will receive.Vegetarian options: Nearly every style of Chinese food has vegetarian options except for Cashew, Cantonese Omelette, Mongolian & General Too dishes but there is plenty to choose out of the remaining entrees, appetizers & selections.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is at street level with wide enough doors to accommodate wheelchairs.“

“?? excellent food!!! So far it's the best fast food Chinese restaurant that I have found in the last year, since my 2 favorite Chinese takeout restaurants closed..,. The prices are excellent and the amount of food that You are given is awesome because it literally ends up being a little more than 2 meals....“

“Ordered for the first time tonight after seeing a recommendation on Facebook. I never hold high hopes for new places with this style of food, but wow. This was so amazing. The crab Rangoon, while being the traditionally made fun of small triangle style, were the best i've ever had from anywhere. The general tso chicken was the perfect amount of spice, and the beef lol mein was perfect. The best finish to this meal of perfection was the wonton soup. Perfect finish to a perfect meal. Came super quick, and driver was a delight and super friendly. Absolutely recommend, and this is my new go to place.“

“The food was hot and tasty. Our server could not have been sweeter, she clearly wanted to be there. But even though this place has a giant dining room it's mostly unused. Lots of carry-out orders were picked up while we were there. They use Grubhub too.“
“There aren't as many dim sum options as LiWah, but the food is just as delicious and 20% cheaper! Judging by the quality of the dim sum, I'm excited to try other dishes. The service was incredibly quick, the cart came by almost as soon as we'd sat down. The carts don't keep the food steaming hot, so some of the food was lukewarm when served. But otherwise, no complaints on the taste!“

“This is the great place to eat, I love their food it's always so delicious no matter what I get. Not only is the food excellent, but they truly care, the other day I ordered some food that had shrimp in it, see I'm allergic to shrimp, because it was a call in order, they call me back to remind me that the food I had ordered had shrimp in it, I explained it was not for me. That showed me that they really cared, most restaurants would not have done that. Thank you Asian delight. ❤️“

“My family has gone to Hunan East for probably 20 years. Even though we go less often now, the owners still recognize us and are very welcoming. The food on the Chinese menu is consistently excellent, and they have some dishes that are hard to find in the area. Some of our faves are the peapod tofu, chicken with sour vegetable, cumin lamb, garlic eggplant, and chicken buns. They have also been very flexible with vegetarian options and adjusting things for a FODMAP diet for Crohn's. While we miss being able to dine in, I'm glad to see the business remains successful with takeout.Be aware that near holidays they can get extremely busy. We've had good luck calling a little earlier in the day for a big order and letting them know a few hours in advance.“

“We have ordered from here for the last 22 years and never had a problem with the food, or the service. We order at least 3 times a month. Not including from my job that is on Rockside Rd. (Literally right up the street from here)Alot of my fellow co-workers order different meals at least once a week and I pick it up for them on my way to work..they buy my dinner for picking theirs up..win-win!!??Love the won ton soup..more than China kitchen 1 or 2 on Turney. This place puts 8-10 won tons in their large soup!!...not 5-6 at the other 2 places I've mentioned. Also, there are just the woman and husband that have been there to run the place and they do a damn good job too! They don't speak English clearly because they are making authentic CHINESE FOOD...After all this..we getting Chinese for dinner today..we ARE HUNGRY!!??“

“Very pleasant family restaurant. I have been going to the location on 55th for a few years and I will not get Chinese food anywhere else. Very courteous drivers, as they deliver not Door Dash. If they say 20 minutes that's what you get. I hope they continue for many years.“

“Our food is delicious. Ordered Family Style Bean Curd with fried rice. Lots of veggies and tofu. The service was fast (15 minutes) and the price was reasonable. $20 for two orders. The quantity was more than I could eat and should have some left over for tomorrow. The ambiance isn't good (old flooring and seating) but it's great to have a Chinese restaurant for take out in the Glennville!“

“Horrible and awful customer service. They always rush you while you’re talking and they hang up mid conversation. I ordered 3 egg rolls and got 2. They didn’t give me a refund and they hung up on me. Do not eat here if you want kindness.“

“Good food! Make sure you ask for the sauces that you want. For example, soy sauce and sweet sauce. I hate the mustard. If you order egg foo young, you have to get extra gravy because the patties are big (3) they don't give you enough. The shrimp egg rolls are ok. You may find 1/2 shrimp.Parking: You can park in front of the restaurant or on the side. Sometimes, extremely busy, so it can be a problem“

“I have been coming here for over 5 years. This was the first Chinese restaurant I visited when I first moved nearby and I was glad to see they had general tso’s tofu. They accommodate my request to make it vegetarian with white rice and veggie egg rolls. The cashier always smiles when I come in and she recognizes my order. I’ve only had one time the food was wrong (made with meat) and they quickly made it over without any issue. It’s the best general tso’s tofu in the area - I have tried others but none have the same texture or sauce. I’ve had one time the egg roll was very oily, but that’s not usually the case, they’re usually very good. The prices also stay reasonable. Even if they are busy, I’ve never had to wait long after the time they committed when I do takeout ordering online (15 minutes from when I put the order in).Keep in mind that during the pandemic they may have had challenges like every other restaurant, but I am glad they’re still standing. I have moved from my previous neighborhood but I still make the drive to get their food before I will go to any other restaurant.Vegetarian options: Tofu, veggie egg rollsDietary restrictions: Vegetarian“

“I would die for this food. It is so good- it’s the only Chinese food I like in the area. Family run, quick service, good portions and I love that the combo meals are under 10 dollars. If you ever don’t know what to get, I always get the general general Tso combo meal! It’s literally my comfort food. Seating is smaller and you should get the food to go but it’s so worth it- I’m picky but this food is so good. I’ve been going here for years, highly recommend! (They also have a buffet I think between 11-3 some days?? Not exactly sure if that’s right but it’s 6. 70 a pound or something- don’t take this for sure but I would call and ask!) ✨?“

“The service was great, they are very welcoming compared to their local competitors (li garden)Atmosphere also seemed better than their competitors. But, I don’t believe the food was better.. the lo mein was better, but the shrimp chips was over cooked and the egg rolls was okay.. nothing major about them.I do enjoy that they have more options for egg rolls.. i may have some bias options because I enjoy the competitor and this was my second time ordering food from China mountain II… but, I would definitely come back.I would love to make a video and judge the 2 places side by side for locals.. but, i dont see the point when its only locals that would care about the video. Lol!Kid-friendliness: Welcoming environment“

“I've been here twice. Both times the service was fast and friendly. It's "express" so food is premade and kept warm and then freshened up when it's ordered. It may not be quite as delicious as a hibachi grill that cooks fresh in front of you, but for $11 and drive through speed?!?! Definitely a value. Better than mall food and costs less. The chicken and veggie portion was average, but the rice serving was HUGE! If you're in a hurry and wanting some hibachi, definitely give it a shot!“
