Not very busy when we went. Not the best but worth the money.

Friendly service, good food but ice cream is inconsistent. Every time I've ordered a large banana split, it's a different size every time.Same for large cones. Need to start filming and taking photos with a tape measure. Smh.They also need to pay more attention to customer orders. Two times they've screwed up my order.Once, I said, no chocolate, Carmel instead, got chocolate. ?‍♂️The second time I ordered two foot longs, got two regular hot dogs. ?‍♂️ again.Children working with the lack of adult supervision. ?‍♂️

Ice cream was okay, nothing special. Only had two flavors of soft serve. Additionally the sundae I got was super messy and hard to eat; it was put in an extremely shallow dish full of hot fudge so of course the tower of ice cream melted and basically went all over the place. Mac and cheese bites were good. Prices were a bit expensive though.

They have picnic tables outside to sit at. Good ice cream and shakes. Nice service.

We absolutely LOVE Twist n Shake! Everything we tried had tasted great, the staff are very friendly, the wait time + prices are very reasonable, the kids are doing a wonderful job. We highly recommend them to any locals we know craving some good ice cream! The only downside is they close when the heat is gone/when school season starts (understandably!)… but we count down the days when they reopen!! They are always worth the wait.We couldn’t recommend them enough!

Update. Owner contacted me and was genuinely interested in making things better. Good on them. It's what you expect from an ice cream shop staffed by children. The formula is simple. You give them money, They hand you ice cream. 9 out of 10 times it works fine. On that 10th time when everything goes wrong, and the downside of not having any adults present becomes evident.4 out of 5 stars because at least they pretended like they cared and we did get ice cream, just not quite what we ordered.
