Our server was very nice, but the food was ...not that good. The j*** chicken was very mild and seemed like it was cooked hours ago and kept warm. I did like the pumpkin rice. Probably won't return.

We found our dinner here to be just ok. My husband ordered the Curry Goat Dinner and I ordered the Veggie Stew Dinner. While we both found the dishes to be pretty good, it was very mild in flavor. Everything tasted fresh but seemed a bit lacking. The Veggie Stew is more of a soup with a thin broth. Plenty of veggies in a very mild, coconut broth. But it was difficult to eat with the tiny plastic forks that were given to us. They're very small and they bend. We dined in and the whole meal was served in styrofoam and plastic. Besides eating hot food out of styrofoam and plastic, the soup was served in a tall container. Perfect for take-out but nearly impossible to eat while dining in at a table. And soup with a fork is just comical. I ended up taking it home. The rice and plantains were ok but nothing special. The service was friendly and we really wanted to like to place but it just missed the mark.

I Ate Here One Time A Few Weeks Ago I Ordered The Oxtail Dinner With Cabbage & Red Beans & Rice(Rice Was Dry & Hard) The Food Was Pretty Decent For Me To Come & Try Again As I Had Been Searching For Some REAL Caribbean Food Around Cincinnati .. I’m Disappointed Today I Tried The J*** Chicken Wing Dinner With The Same Sides & I Have To Say I’m Disaapointed In The Whole Meal .. Not Sure What J*** Sauce This Is But I’m Definitely Not Used To It It’s Tastes Sweet No Spice To It Really. My Chicken Wings Taste Very Much Old My Cabbage Is Bland & The Rice Taste The Same As It Did The First Time I Tried It . I Was Craving This Being Pregnant & All But My Taste Buds Are Not Satisfied In The Least Bit. For The Price I Think All Food Should Be Made To Order. I’d Rather Wait Instead Of Eating & Paying For Food That Has Been Sitting.

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. Zackina was superb. I have never before met someone and wanted to call them family just by being in their presence. The gentleman at the front (think his name is X) was a pleasure. If you’re wondering what tastes good on the menu… EVERYTHING. I mean that. We didn’t want to miss a thing so we ordered food for dine in and tons of food to go. Please do yourself a favor and try Jamaica Mon. Your tastebuds will thank you!!!!

First of all, the brown sugar limeade was one of the best drinks I've ever had! All the natural juices were delish, but, that was the best.The greens, rice and peas, and oxtails were yummy. The portion sizes were a steal for the price.Our server was the best. She let us sample the juice and was patient with us. Great customer service!If you need to know if you should patronize...go!

Had lunch at Jamaica Mon on a Friday afternoon around 1pm. We sat at the bar initially for a drink then over to a booth for our meal. Rikki (aka Stereo) made my fiancee a perfect strawberry margarita. I had a j*** chicken sandwich and my fiancee had the oxtail. Stereo waited on our table, tended to patrons at the bar, took incoming phone orders and dealt with walk-in orders all at the same time ALL BY HERSELF! The food and service were both great and we can't wait to come back again! 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
