Love the food there

First time eating here. The food was all delicious! Had the steak with fried plantains and casamiento and the chicken fajitas with the same sides as the steak. Recommend both dishes. The portion sizes are excellent and worth the money. Will definitely be back.

Just tried this place out. The owner and his wife are from the southern part of PR (the area being hit the hardest with the earthquakes). Great guy, even better food! The empanadillas, triplets, sweet plantains, arroz con gandules, and stuffed yucca were fantastic! During the summer I am told they grill pinchos (grilled skewers of meat in a BBQ sauce) so I can't wait to try them. We will definitely be back!

The mofongo and empanadas here were pretty good. The quesitos did not have enough filling or were sweet enough.

This was my first time eating mofogno and it was amazing I had it with shrimp and garlic sauce and it was so amazing. They put so much care into the food. The staff is so friendly and I felt like family. I would definitely go again.

Amazing pizza and Puerto Rican food at Joako's. I've had a lot of their food. My favorite are their chicken and beef empanadas. They are very authentic. You can't find anything like it anywhere in Greater Cincinnati. A++++

Amazing Puerto rican food. The monfongo is wonderful, the yucca frites are huge. Can't wait to try more of their homemade food. (nope, haven't tried the pizza yet.. but plantain pizza sounds good)

We decided to go to this restaurant because it was walking distance from the Neon Museum. The restaurant had a number of South American people eating there (always a good sign) the three of us ordered a different dish and a couple of chicken tomales. Everything was freshly made & delicious. Our beef steaks were cooked perfectly. Service was prompt and accomodating. We enjoyed it all and there was no bill shock. If you’re in Las Vegas move off the strip and try some local fare.

The food is excellent. The server Sandra not so much. She had a real attitude and was less than friendly. I really enjoyed the beefsteak. Although this place is in a bad hood it was featured in the movie Casino. I would come back for the food, but Sandra needs to go.

This is a Puerto Rican restaurant (my peoples!). It was great going to my first ever Puerto Rican restaurant and getting to try things my family doesn't make. Like someone else stated this is not a fast food place so do not go in starving and expecting something to instantly appear. Friendly staff, good tasting food and great service. Me and the Dominican boyfriend will most defiantly be back!

Before I go into detail on how amazing the food is, I HAVE to mention it does take hot minute to make your food... so if you plan on eating here and find yourself starving.. call head! I stopped after a long day outside, so I was starving. I expected food to be ready to go (based on pictures) but then quickly realized they made everything from scratch! I waited around 30 minutes which isn't bad especially when you taste the food Ahí DIOS MÍO! It was heaven! I had Mofongo, chicken chicharrones (tasted like chicken tenders but better) AND their traditional rice. All was $15!

The Cuban Sandwich.... yum.... The red beans and rice... extra yum. So happy to find a local place that serves Puerto Rican food. We also tried the garlic pizza toast which was also pretty good. Definitely will be returning.
