Dropped in to place an order and were told 20-30 minutes. Finally got the order an hour later!!!!! It was obvious that they had overlooked placing the order, which they denied. However, they did discount the food somewhat which indicates that they knew they had messed up. Also, we stressed that it should not be heavily peppered as some reviews had stated previously. Of course the food had too much black pepper just as the other reviews had stated was a bit of a problem. A disappointment to say the least.

Love the food here! Been eating at Sawasdee for years. Once I found it, I won’t go anywhere else for Thai food. Service is amazing, the owner is just the sweetest person. Love the new location in West Chester, although I’m sad I have to drive a little further to get to it, but it’s not too bad. Be mindful of the spice levels. The food will be much spicier than anticipated. A level 1 here is the equivalent of a 3/4 somewhere else. But it’s always fresh, well-prepared, and absolutely delicious!

Years ago, I reluctantly tried Thai food for the first time at Sawasdee. The following week, I could not get it out of my head! I had to have more. Sawasdee is my all-time favorite place to eat (dine-in or take-out). The Pad Thai is the most authentic and delicious I have ever had. Other restaurants I've tried simply can't compare. I have been a loyal customer for several years now, rooting for them on the journey to their new location, and Lek and friends have always been so kind and pleasant to be around.

I got the Pad Thai. It was good probably should have ask for extra peanuts. I liked the spice of it reminded me of the Thai restaurants back in my hometown Detroit. I definitely could have got a 4 instead of a 3.5. Very flavorful minus the gnats please. The gnats were very bothersome and annoying to constantly have to swat them away just to enjoy my food. Took a shrimp fried rice to go for my daughter she said it was delicious and taste grilled which is something she liked about it. Our waiter was nice and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was decent. Overall nice place and good food. Just do something about the gnats please.

We decided to go to Sawasdee for our group birthday dinner. We called a few days in advance, and they were easily able to accommodate our 7-person reservation. This was our first visit to the new location, and we will be back again and again! The food was dynamite, and the service was fantastic! We started with appetizers (not pictured), the crab rangoons we so good our table got 3 orders! The curried fish cakes and accompanied dipping sauce were unique and tangy. Pictured Main courses: Pad Ka Prao Moo Sub (Holy Basil Stir-Fry With Ground Pork) & Panang Curry. We finished off with a cooling Four Seasons Roll. The sushi chef even made us a special off menu dish, which was a very sweet gesture.15/10, we will be back!Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I read so many great reviews about this restaurant that I had to try it. I will absolutely be back! Everyone from the hostess to the server, and the manager were all so nice and attentive. I had the tofu pad Thai, and it was absolutely delicious.

Despite asking for a vegetarian option, they had fish sauce in the soup. Pad Thai and fried rice were extremely oily. Oli was dripping out of every dish.

Came in and sat down immediately. Ordered seaweed salad, Shrimp tempura roll, pork potstickers, and the chef’s special fried rice. Sushi and seaweed salad came out quickly, seaweed salad was crunchy, fresh, and refreshing. The sushi roll was rolled tightly and didn’t come apart, the rice was perfectly sticky and the shrimp was crisp. The Potstickers were amazing and had a wonderful sauce. The chef’s special fried rice that I had was absolutely incredible! For sure will be back!

Been desperate for a quality Thai restaurant in the area. This one might honestly be it! I’m a spice-a-holic and I even had trouble with a 3. Believe them when they recommend a 1.Even tried the sushi and it was very very tasty for an affordable price.Pad Kee Mao was delicious and if you don’t overdose the spice in the curry, it’s very very good.I honestly hope this place stays around because it has a chance to become a staple of West Chester.
