I had been here before and had a bad experience, thus took a hiatus for about 3 years. This time, the food/beer was good, the waitress was wonderful and the atmosphere was as you would expect.

Over 60 beers on tap, what's not to like! Ordered the pastrami sandwich, which has a smokey pastrami piled high on rye bread. Spread the stone ground mustard onto the sandwich, and you have a perfect meal to go with the many selections of beer. Our server was great, anticipating our needs and was very friendly.

Great beer selection and great food, and the service was even better. There was a technical issue with the ordering system causing our order to accidentally be deleted, but our server quickly noticed and our food still probably came out quicker than many other restaurants in the area. Server also had great recommendations for food.

This staple of Kent has been a long time comfort place for my family. Through the years of good times as a bar and the many meals of consistent well done menus items, we love it here. I just hosted my husband's 50th birthday party upstairs and we were so well taken care of I had to post my sentiments. Practically the whole guest list is familiar either remembering the good old days or they still get to frequent so the atmosphere was our best spot. A party of larger size is stressful. However from the first call in booking our party to taking down decorations there was nothing but kindness and ease with it all. Thank you for the space to host and the wonderful staff to make it easier.

Great selection of beer. The mushroom bacon Swiss burger not so much... Thin patty with little bit of mushroom and thin slice of Swiss. Large bracket of sweet potatoes fries are good. The guy next to me had an Amazing looking Ruben and I would like to try that.

Great portions and prices. Food is always good and there's something for everybody. They always have a great draft list and this location is more relaxed than the Kent location. Rays is a go to for me.

only two stars because I can't rate the service or ambianc. I have not been here or did take out for awhile so I gave it a try. Awful. I had th throw 95% away, only because I took a bite. The onion rings were fried in some kind of oil that smelled and tasted terrible. Not even a package of ketchup or something to dip them in. oh and forget about napkins. I also ordered a Cuban sandwich. Not a cuban by any means. A Cuban is pressed bread, thin slice of "pork". not smoked pork, a thin slice of ham ( must have run out of ham) some thin slices of pickles. They must have run short so they put the ends of the pickle on mine. Swiss cheese. They must have had only enough for one half. And mustard. Nope must be out of that as well. They did have a funny mayo side. yech! You press all of that and you usually get a tasty Cuban. $20.00 in the trash and no dinner for me. The grease from the onion ring is still lingering. How do they survive?

I have visited the Kent location on dozens of occasions but was in the Akron area. Sign at the door prompted us to seat ourselves. Not enough wait staff? Took awhile to get drinks. Server inquired about the quality of our drinks as she had made them but wasn't the bartender (she was enthusiastic and did a good job). Food was average in quality and quantity, nothing special. Atmosphere was that of a typical sports bar venue.
