this location is absolutely dreadful. The bathrooms are marked boys girls and family however you have a dishwasher that looks like he's constantly relapsing with tattoos done by a guy who knows a guy who will do it real cheap that enjoys dumping in the family bathroom. I had to bang on the door in a manor he's clearly familiar with cause the toilet flushed and the door immediately opened without any hand washing being conducted. My bun was hard as a hockey puck, home fries was as black as said hockey puck, and I couldn't tell if I had French fries or limp noodles on my daughters plate as they didn't even allow the fries to cook. Unfortunately I'd avoid this location at all cost.

I absolutely love coming here and seeing everyone's friendly smiling faces in the morning (my evening) after I've worked a long hard and seeing a lot of unhappy people on 3rds. They really make the whole experience extremely enjoyable. I actually miss them if I can't make it in one week for some reason or another. They make you feel welcomed

Middletown Location: I'm not sure why, but waitresses at Bob Evans are either super nice or kinda snippy or rude. Is there no "normal or in-between?" Normal would be helpful, efficient and not have a superior attitude. I respect you and the job you do, and I appreciate how hard you work. I used to waitress in my younger days. I dont hold myself higher than anyone. We all put our pants on one leg at a time.Apparently, they can't make well-done or crisp toast bc they have only a "Walmart toaster" bc that is all the management has sprung for? I didn't need those details. I just wanted crisp toast. Airing house money problems or opinions about how management spends on the restaurant would not be my idea of professional. Oh, and there ARE settings to increase toasting time. Even on "Walmart toasters."Upgraded my potatoes to the "Rancher Crispy Potatoes." The picture on the table really sold these. Of course, they arrived looking somewhat different from the pictures on the table and menu. Not to mention... cold. My waitress was in a hurry for me to leave and wanted to drop the check as she was finally asking if everything is ok. I said, "those are cold," and pointed to the potatoes which had shredded cheese that was obviously not melted. She took the dish to nuke them. I'm sorry, but food changes once it has been nuked. Not the same consistency, and hot ranch dressing (which was on top of them) does NOT taste good to me. I ate a few pieces and then requested a box to take them home to try and "fix" them, but I'm not holding out much hope since the 2nd main ingredient after the new potatoes (based on quantity), ranch dressing, pretty much has drowned them. If I ever get these again, the ranch needs to be left off or served on the side. Sour cream would be so much better.Spoke to the chef on my way out. He was running the cash register and said he is one of the managers. I gave him my input on the potatoes. He said that it is difficult to come up with the finished product of "crispy" potatoes and have it warm enough to melt the shredded cheddar cheese. I didn't follow the reasoning at all. Why market or offer these if they can't be produced?Spent $8.20 for 1 egg (cooked correctly!) soggy toast, 2 pieces of (somewhat greasy) bacon, and the above-mentioned potatoes. Had water to drink. A good value and more than enough to fill my stomach. Just really disappointed about those potatoes. With regard to consistent food prep and delivering menu items as they are marketed, Bob's still hasn't redeemed themselves in my book. Maybe one more chance. An aside: no one can choose who sits near them in a restaurant, of course, but the foul-mouth of a young woman sitting next to me was enough of a reason to high-tail it out of there. Killer is... They were sitting there discussing church. SIGH.‐----------.North College Hill location: Waitress was great, but the food wasn't as ordered. Asked for homefries. Well done. They were not cooked beyond prep stage, so I sent them back, and they redid them. The pancakes are terrible. Gummy and not fully cooked. Sorry... they aren't as good as Perkins or mine at home. The omelet was great. I did build my own with spinach, monterey Jack cheese, and ham. Very good.

Lady behind counter was telling her life story for everyone in the restaurant to hear instead of helping the waitress on duty out, or maybe running the cash register. There was only one waitress and she was being run to death. Our food was awesome though.

Was charged double for food and drinks we didn't get.The place was not very clean. It was BM all of the bathroom walls. Stalls, the soap holder is hanging off and empty. We told the Manager twice and he act like it was no big deal that's the second time we went there and it was like that so it will be a while before we go back.

Typical Bob Evans. Our waitress was great, host didn't know anything about hospitality, bathrooms were atrocious. Won't be back!

I've gone to Bob Evans 3 times, 3 different places, abs each time it has taken 45min to an hour to even order our food, after waiting to be seated 20min. I don't know if I have very bad luck, and something caused this each time, but I just won't be visiting Bob Evans again.

I ordered lunch for me and my crew last week from bob evans in middletownPick the order app, got back to the job. We had ordered a cheeseburger and fries which were nasty and 2 biscuits and gravy breakfast. 1 for me and 1for my helperWhen I got back to the job and opened the food. They had put the 2 biscuits and gravy in the same container. They expected us to eat off of the same plate basicallyI called the restaurant and asked him why they did this. They said it was my fault. Because I didn't tell him to put it in separate containersI asked the girl, do you eat off your boss's play or do You ever eat out and eat off of someone else's plate? Cause you only get 1plate to shareThey expected me to tell them that it needed to be separateshe told me it was my faultSo I called corporate office 3 times and no one ever called back. Bob Evans doesn't care about their customers. I paid $25 and had to eat garbage food offf. The same plate as my helper totally ridiculous
