It's a nice place. The restaurant is shared with Elroys. The food itself feels more traditional Italian but I wasn't blown away that I have to come back again. Bread was okay, kind of hard to chew. Dessert just don't eat. We asked what was frozen and what was fresh. Cheesecake is not homemade. The chocolate cake has a texture like a brownie.

Just passing through Fremont and decided to stop. What a great decision. Drinks were perfect. Service was outstanding. Noodles were amazing. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

6 of us attended dinner Wednesday night and 5 of us were disappointed in our meals. One was super salty, my pasta had no flavor, and the portion size for the lasagna was laughable. Would not recommend.

One of the nicest restaurants in the area. Not bunch of choices on the menu like a chain restaurant, but what they have is great. Will go again.

Always have excellent food and service. Every staff person we encountered was friendly and very accommodating. We don't live in Fremont but we've decided we should make the effort to visit here more often.

I'm not Gordon Ramsey, but even I could tell a lot of the food was previously frozen and microwaved. I love salt. Heck I might lick a salt brick. However, somehow they made jarred olives with so much salt it was inedible. Ravioli had freezer burns on it. Potato soup has sugar in it (?) The drinks, bread, and service were good and thus the redeeming quality. Get an actual Italian cook and it could be saved. I recommend skipping.

The food was fantastic worth the 50 min. drive from my home. I had the chicken marcella it was perfect! The pasta was just right and the gravey was amazing! My date had the chicken piccata it was perfect also Drinks were very good just a little pricey. The house wine was exceptional and reasonably priced. The waitress was great! If we could only clone her! The place was very clean. The look was very classy art deco. This place is well worth the travel to this sweet little town...Fremont Ohio.

Went there for dinner (10/03/2023) Won't be going back. One of the worst experiences I have had in a restaurant in a long time. We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer. It didn't come until after we had gotten and eaten our salads AND our main dishes. We told the waitress to cancel it, so she took it off of our bill, but they made it anyway. Then it just sat and went to waste because we had eaten our whole meals by then. Silly that you can't get appetizers to come out to the customer in the proper timeframe. It was well over an hour by the time it came to our table from the time that we ordered it.Apparently, they were having problems with their drink dispenser system. When the waitress brought my diet soda, she told me to taste it first because of the problems they were having. It definitely wasn't diet soda. She brought me a canned diet coke instead. But instead of bringing me a new glass, she strained the bad soda through the ice, and gave me back the same glass. Weird. Then later, when I needed a refill, she just brought me another glass from the dispenser system that tasted the same as the original one she had me test first. My wife ordered a cup of after dinner coffee. We waited thirty minutes, and it never came. She had the soup and salad and was happy with her food.I had the pasta carbonara and caesar salad. The menu stated that the carbonara had "crispy bits of bacon", but the bacon bits were few and far between, and they were soggy and chewy. The asiago sauce was mostly oil, with minimal flavor. The amount of food that I got was comical, as it barely covered the bottom of the bowl that it was served in.There were a lot of staff between there and the deli next door. Most of them engaging in conversations with each other as opposed to helping customers. None of them were smiling. The waitress would talk to you while she was walking away from you. The decorative light along the wall at our booth was flashing incessantly the whole time we were there. The salt and pepper shakers on the table were empty. When I asked the waitress, she brought a large pepper grinder and gave me pepper, but not salt.Typical establishment of the owner. Make things nice, but don't follow through on delivering a quality product. Easy to do in a town with limited options. Do yourself a favor and drive somewhere else if you want italian.Parking: Had to park on the next city block for the first empty place I could find.

Everything needed salt, no gluten-free options. Short ribs were terrible like a piece of leather. Won't be back.

Had very high hopes. Atmosphere is very lovely and the menu looks fantastic. The food was below ordinary though. Pasta for one person was completely under seasoned and the sauce was not existent. The short ribs were actually horrible, but the pasta with it was decent. One person did love the salmon dish. Just really seemed like nobody tasted the food before serving and was very unders-seasoned. Another huge disappointment at a nicer restaurant is to find that they do not have a gluten-free pasta option. Would like to give it another shot but do not think I would get any takers from my group to try. Service was well above average as well as atmosphere.
