“Great open air brewery with food options in the Creekside area of Gahanna. We enjoyed the "We Made You A Mixtape" IPA that had a distinct color but was simply delicious! They needed an extra person behind the bar, as the line did get pretty long but the staff was very friendly!“
“This is one of my favorite meaderies! There is not a single mead they've ever released that I wouldn't drink. On top of delicious mead, the space is super cute and the owner is always so sweet. We have been there to celebrate my birthday once and my mom's birthday last year. Would absolutely recommend whether you're new to the world of mead or you're a mead connoisseur :)“
“We chose to hire Seventh Son's sunroom for our wedding. Best decision ever. Monica was a delight to work with and everything was so relaxed and easy from day one. Our wedding day was perfect. The space looked amazing, the drinks were fabulous and the bar staff were simply outstanding.Highly recommend this place for events, or even just a great, chilled location for a beer if you're in the area.“
“Jackie O's has long been a staple of Athens OH. If you're not from the area, you may have never heard of this sleepy little hippie-esque college town to the south east of Columbus, but Jackie O's is part of what gives it its character. Recently, Jackie O's opened a large location in the Columbus area, and it has been a hotspot ever since. They offer the same delicious beers brewed right here in Ohio, plus a list of seasonal cocktails. I've tried a few, but haven't tried many of their beers recently, as I am not a huge beer drinker. So far I have liked every cocktail I've tried except for the pickle martini. Pickles are my favorite food, but I hate sweet pickles, and it's definitely not made with regular dill pickles. It's strong but I was not a fan at all. The restaurant experience is fun, has a large patio with fireplaces, an upstairs, and plays home to Goood Friends, a great sandwich shop with a walk-up window. Definitely plan for parking to be an issue or to pay for it, as the on-site lot is super small and often difficult to find space in. Otherwise it's a great meeting spot for a group of friends and a good place to take out-of-towners.“
“Been coming here for years, this is one of my favorite locations to just grab a beer in Columbus. The atmosphere has always been chill (even when the place is full) and the staff are always friendly, helpful, and attentive.Beer and grub is solid if not standout, and they get new things on tap very regularly.I recommend the place!“
“My boyfriend and I visited on a Wednesday. He’s primarily a beer guy and im a wine girly. However, we liked everything we tried. Its nice when the drink tastes like the description says (my banana crumble drink was so yummy). Service was great, the Wednesday food truck was even good. Cant wait to try those card games/board games they have during our next visit! Glad we went!“
“The have a great selection of beer that change during the seasons . Delicious coffee, lattes as well. A good mix of drinkers, family , studying in the crowd. The patio outside w the two fire pits are always a great time . Parking is limited and packed. Rotated food trucks are delicious . The business is involved with the community and you can tell they care.“
“Held my wife's birthday party at Heart State last week and it worked out perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, and the buffet table was never empty/neglected. Turned a lot of newcomers on to HSB! Great spot for gatherings or just to hang.“
“Great atmosphere! My work rented out the back room. Perk is that you can bring your own food. Nice big TV to watch games. They even have a heated patio area. Drinks were very good and decently priced. Highly recommend the warm cider with a shot!“
“We love Combustion! Great beer for a local spot. I have to agree with some of the other guests, I can't understand why so many people bring their small children here. This is not a spot for young kids. These are adults enjoying time to themselves and peace and quiet with a great beer. There needs to be time set aside for 21 and over or a space for just kids.“
“Ryan Shazier loves this place. Saw him a few weeks ago with some lady (not his wife) and he said it’s a perfect spot for first dates. He was absolutely right! Took my girl there for a first date and ended the night at her place! The vibe is amazing. Shazier recommended I try the Tessera drink andMy oh my, it was paralyzingly good! Wish Shazier would show some loyalty, but it led me to find this gem. Thank you Ryan Shazier!“
“*Dog Friendly* Kind of hard to find but what a gem! Staff was extremely friendly, they went out of their way to go over their different drinks and other places to check out. They brought out the dogs a water bowl with ice cubes. The beers were incredible, never had anything like them…. The fact that they are all barrel aged is all that needs to be said. Definitely will be back! Thanks for such a warm welcome to your city/breweryCheers“
“Great selection of beer and a nice outdoor area. They offer outdoor igloos along with curling and ice bumper cars. The beer choices ranged from pilsners to stouts. Buckeye Donuts is a must try! They have 2 food trucks onsite- RayRay's BBQ and Mikey's Late Night Slice pizza. Great place for dinner and a beer!“
“A group of 9 of us went to Spire Social recently to brew our own beer as part of a bachelor party. The owner Alex was awesome - he let us start early before the brewery opened and made sure we all had a drink before we got started. He provided a lot of instruction and explanation throughout the process which we all enjoyed. We all got to participate in the brewing and the bachelor was able to smell and select which types of hops we used. The process took about 3 hours so that gave us plenty of time to hang out and drink at the bar (good beer!). I would definitely recommend Spire Social to anyone who’s interested in brewing their own beer or just grabbing a drink!“
“I fell in love with this place from the moment I walked in the door!!!! Such a great vibe great staff and even better beer! My go to is The Father Figure “AKA Whose Your Daddy”! Oh and I just found out they have live Jazz on Thursdays!! I might be a lifer lol!!!! #Cheers“
“HIDDEN SECRET!! This place is electric and an absolute secret of Westerville. They have their own brew and some amazing different drinks to try. You have to try the Downeast Cider Blue Slushie! OMG SOOOOOOO GOOD! Staff are beyond amazing.Google the address because it’s a little out of sight! But it is amazing!“
“Got some great brews and great vibes. There was a lot of seating on the afternoon that we went but I could see it getting busy during peak hours. There were a lot of fun seasonal options to choose from so that made things interesting. We grabbed a round of drinks before hopping to the next spot so it was a great stop for that. Not sure if it was just too early or what for our server though he seemed really stoic and disinterested while we were ordering. But eh that's okay I know we all have our bad days too lol“
“They were so accommodating when we reached out about hosting a larger party. We got great service, the food was good, and we all had a great time. Large, easy parking lot, lots of space inside, a large patio, and the entire staff was just fantastic.“
“I wish I could give our server more stars!!! She went above and beyond. My kiddo got his head banged by a truck hood and she saved the day with some advil. The food was great. The large house salad is huge. The scratch made blue cheese is excellent, as was the tenders and fries. The vibe is loud and bustling, but the booths helped filter the noise. The location is excellent and just across the street from the convention center.Vegetarian options: Definitely veggie friendlyDietary restrictions: Lots of different optionsParking: Parking in that area can be tight and costly.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu availableWheelchair accessibility: Could be a little tight when they are packed.“
“This is the best bar in Columbus!!! Joe$tar, the doorman and talented rapper who hosts shows here, creates a very warm and welcoming environment when he greets you and asks for your ID. The inside is filled with wonderful art by NEWFACECULTURE and everyone who works here is super kind and love the environment they work in and the people around them, huge shout out to Jonny, Gage and Owen for always making my nights memorable here!!“
“Tried 4 different drinks and they were all amazing! The Darw1n is great and I’ve never had a beer like it before which makes it even better. They don’t just stop at beer though, the food is delicious! I cannot recommend the Buffalo chicken pizza enough- I would come here just for the Darw1n and the pizza.“
“This was my first time at Taft’s and it was really fun! The toasted rav was sooo good! The pizza was not my favorite but I would go back for the toasted rav alone. Their playlist was absolute fire (a la early 2000s) and the vibes were great.“
“First time in and found this smaller brewery fantastic with the amazing sandwiches and light music it was a perfect place for lunch. Keaton the bartender was so nice and helpful offering sample of beer and even pick a sandwich for me to try that I loved!!! I will be back many times keep up the good work Keaton!!!!“
“My wife & I had an amazing evening at EBC. The atmosphere was fantastic. They had a small band playing, and the sound wasn't overbearing the way some bands can be. They had a food truck serving guests just outside their AMAZING patio area.Patio area is a whole nother level, with an AMAZING skyline view of downtown Columbus! We were lucky enough to have a clear view of a beautiful sunset. The brews we sampled were delicious, and the cocktail & bourbon options were plentiful. Service staff was very knowledgeable, attentive, and very friendly. We will definitely return when in the area.“
