The booths are certainly "cosier" than the tables are. There is a very interesting oven/grill that the owners had imported for the restaurant, it is a thing to see. Sitting at the bar, you have a ring-side view of the cooking.The drinks were good, if not a little pricier than expected for a strip-mall restaurant. Strong nod towards the Barrel Aged Black Manhattan. The food was very good. I would highly recommend the veggie board - it was more than enough for the four of us. I had the Artichoke and Arugula pesto pasta which was good, would have been better if the penne was more towards al-dente and a little less heavy on the walnuts. The wife enjoyed the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and said the habanero aioli gave it a nice kick.“

Not sure if these are the typical prices in Ohio but coming from California I was overwhelmed with joy! This restaurant is located on the second floor within the popular North Market. The restaurant is very spacious and you order yourself at the computer. There were no workers to greet me or guide me in the ordering process which did make it a bit awkward. Food: I loved everything! The "hot level" was not hot for me so I had to order the next heat level. The waitress was very nice and brought me the next heat level sauce at no extra charge! The heat level "holy" is perfect for those that enjoy a kick. The house ranch was my favorite! It paired the hot chicken perfectly and was flavorful. The waffle fries were crispy and generous. Sweet tea was delicious and I loved that they also have an unsweetened option, I did 75% unsweetened and 25% sweet. Overall, this was tasty and a great deal!“

“I've never seen this many options for chicken salad! For about $12 I got a drink, a sandwich, side (mac and cheese) and a mini cookie! You'll never find prices that good and the food be just as good! I got what I thought was gonna be a super spicy one but honestly it was barely spicy. Still delicious just wish it was hotter. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was the inside of the restaurant. It smelled like a nursing home, and honestly felt like I was eating in the dinning room of a nursing home. The dining room was so out dated and felt a little gross. I probably wouldn't dine in again at this location but would definitely order to-go. The staff was super kind and helpful which definitely makes up a bit for the dinning room.“
“First time I've been to a Chick-fil-A(I'm vegetarian). I mainly came for the playground for my kids, but we got some French fries, fruit bowls, and Mac n cheese. They were super fast getting that out, and it was pretty good for the sides. A little pricey, but hey, inflation won't bring it down anytime soon. “I’m addicted! When I got pregnant and found out I couldn’t have the Cain sauce I was heartbroken! After I had my daughter I went STRAIGHT to Cain’s and got my usual box combo with my large sprite and my Cain crack sauce! I am now completed once again! Their buttered on both sides bread with the tender crispy juicy chicken in the middle leave me with a mouthgasm omg it’s like buttery, sweet and savory heaven in your mouth.“

“The staff here is always pleasant to deal with. The place is always clean too. My son and I each got The Caniac meal. The chicken is always tender and juicy. I love the Cane's sauce. Cole slaw is pretty bland but that's why we usually skip it and get an extra piece of bread instead. The bread is so soft and delicious! I ordered the chicken "naked" for the first time (no breading) and they didn't seem put out about it, so that was nice. Will return!“

That level of heat is not for anyone who doesn't want to lose feeling in their face, lol. They have everything from regular no heat up to the highest level, "Unholy"!! I won't even consider trying the "Unholy" as the "Holy" was incredibly hot and the highest I ever need to go. I've been to other "hot" chicken restaurants in the central Ohio area and was unpleasantly let down. They just lacked the heat I'm looking for, the portions were small, the price was high, and the taste was lacking. Hot Chicken Takeover was everything that the others were not. “I've been wanting to try M&M Chicken for some time now, but never quite find myself in that area at the same time that I have an appetite for fish.Well, I've been there twice and both times I've had the catfish. I've gotta say, it's golden delicious. Nice and flakey as I need it, great temperature with that "scenty" steam when you break it open. The flavor is on point, but kicked to the next level if you allow him to add lemon pepper seasoning to it. Sometimes, you may decide not to add tartar sauce and that, is a sign of a great tasting fish.They do provide bread which is good because it's great as a sandwich. But it's just as good if you eat it alone.The fries are nice and crispy, rounding out the meal perfectly. The only downside is the cramped parking, but that's not enough to hurt my decision to go back. The food is great.
