I really liked the chicken. It was delicious. I also love that they partner with The Autism Society of Central Ohio for fundraising events! I will definitely come back

second time that we have gone to get ribs. sold out by 6:00 pm. who ever orders their food needs to plan better. called over to Reynoldsburg store and they were sold out too. I guess we don't order from them on Saturday night. chicken and brisket were fine. we had out of town guests who wanted Ribs.

This place never leaves me disappointed. Huge menu and the food is darn good. Always great service and the food always comes out so fast even when they are busy. Today they had a “kids eat free” promo and I felt obligated to leave a review because the food and service was so good… They even had some crafts to do outside where my daughters made some bead bracelets. A staff member even came out and helped. Five star experience.

Possibly the best BBQ In Columbus Oh. Staff was very pleasant and informed. Gave good recommendations. Portions were more than enough for the price you pay. Asked the cashier for recommendations, he suggested ribs (fantastic) and brisket. On the side I had a sausage that was really good. Would recommend anyone to stop by

Always good. Everything good. I usually get either the turkey or the brisket. People tell me that the pulled pork is amazing and the sides are all fantastic!! Most importantly the staff at the Gahanna location is the best. Friendly and competent.

I am speaking for me personally I am not crazy about the ribs but they have really excellent pulled pork and brisket I also really like their baked beans some of the best baked beans from a restaurant I've ever gotten, so when we go there we are pretty singularly minded pulled pork brisket baked beans and cornbread, never had an issue consistency it is there every time and every once in awhile I even get their banana pudding which I would highly recommend also.Never had an issue with customer service at any City Barbeque, several times we have called ahead Place orders for pickup including several times large orders, again have never had any issues at City Barbeque and they are very generous with their side items so if you need plates napkins utensils extra barbecue sauce never an issue which I always liked about them. And all that being said, remember just because I don't like one thing, you should try it, you might love it!

A year or two ago I would've given all 5 stars because we USED to love City BBQ. It used to be my husband's fav and everyone in the family knew it so it was their go-to when they got him gifts - City Gift Cards. Unfortunately, something has changed at our Gahanna location in the past year - year and a half. We have not had even one order that didn't have some sort of problem w/it. In the beginning it was missing food from pickup orders and/or instructions not followed on orders (like no onions on salads)...but the past 3 order have also had issues w/the quality of food. I have not wanted to do a review up to this point because none of the issues were "put us off the place forever"...they were just very disappointing and/or not up the level we had grown accustomed to over the years. We could still eat the food (or go back and get the missing items)...things just weren't as good as they used to be. I chalked it up to maybe we got a new hire and they were learning...or we can all have a bad day sometimes...something along those lines. However, as of last night...I feel the need to share because last night was the worst experience we've had to date. My husband ordered the Lolo's (had always been his fav of favs!) and he found not 1...but 2 pieces of bone in the pulled pork sandwich. It's bad enough when you bite into a sandwich and hit a bone but to find 2 bones in one sandwich? Nah. He ended up throwing it out. I have cooked plenty of pulled pork myself and, sure, sometimes a little bone might slip thru but to find 2 good sized bone pieces in 1 sandwich?...nope...this is just carelessness on the part of the person doing the "pulling". We also ordered the wings and they were absolutely inedible. Not only were they burned up and basically leather (the outside was almost plastic-y they were so hard and burnt up!)...but they were so salty that I don't think anyone could eat them. I know I couldn't. An order of 12 wings expected to be shared by my husband and me...in the trash. And if all of that wasn't bad enough...the fried pickles were soooooo greasy...to the point that they were swimming in grease in the little basket. And yes, I know fried pickles can be greasy and can get a little soggy in transit w/pickup but they looked like someone had thought grease would make a good gravy in the basket. Soaked in oil, rather than fried, maybe? Gross! Bad, just plain bad and a total waste of nearly $35! It's hugely disappointing when you spend hard earned money and then you find yourself pouring a bowl of cereal for dinner because the food you just paid for is in your trashcan. My husband is now mourning the loss of his fav place to get food but we have decided we will not be buying our trashcan anymore meals. Sniff, sniff. RIP The City BBQ of days gone by.

It's pretty good for a small chain barbecue. But don't order curbside - they have it available online and even have parking spots labeled as curbside only, but they never bring out your food and just set it with the mobile take out orders.
