“I was in the mood for a proper comfort food breakfast. So I went on down to Scenna’s Family Restaurant in Niles, Ohio. This is the quintessential cozy Ohio restaurant for sure. I loved my waitresses, she had a southern Ohio accent for sure & was just the sweetest. My seating options were tables, booths or at the counter, I chose a table. I ordered “The Mess” a big omelet with everything in it. I also order 1 buttermilk pancake & toast. I love real buttermilk pancakes, my waitress said I wouldn’t be disappointed, I was not. The pancake was awesome, such a nice size & unbelievable tasty. The Omelet was huge, I couldn’t finish it, I’ll finish it up tomorrow. I did take advantage of the bottomless cup of coffee, my waitress was on point every time it got a little low. I really enjoyed my morning here, the atmosphere was just a down home feel. You really have to have a meal here, I promise you won’t be disappointed.“

“Had a standard breakfast of eggs, potatoes, bacon, toast, side of sausage gravy and coffee. Food was very good especially with the price. Lots of waffles and pancakes options I want to try another time. Waitress was very friendly and engaging, and kept my coffee mug full.Parking: Standard parking lot.“

“We visited the National Packard Museum and were looking for local food before heading home - SO HAPPY we found this place! Very welcoming. My husband had the NY Strip Steak with Texas potatoes, and I had a gyro with red skinned mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked to perfection and eveything was so delish. On the suggestion of our waitress and Nick, we also tried the chicken that is their signature dish. Oh My Lord was it good! Wish we lived closer. “Stopped in for lunch not knowing that this place even existed . Ordered a pork chop with beans and rice . Pork chop was good but the beans and rice were straight up amazing I could eat the beans and rice for every meal for a month and still go back for more I’ll be back for the mofongo for sure“

“I was in the mood for breakfast this morning & traveled to the Thano’s Family Restaurant in Canfield, Ohio. I was told that they have an amazing breakfast, I was not disappointed. When i arrived, I was warmly greeted by the hostess. She asked my seating preference (table, counter or booth), and seated me quickly. She adjusted the table & positioned it for my comfort, then checked the table to make sure I had everything I need for my meal. My waitress was over quickly & brought me a nice, hot cup of coffee. She was super friendly & pleasant, she then went over the menu with me. I made the selection of the Everything Omelet with a side home fries & white toast. A few minutes later my breakfast was brought to my table nice & hot. I must say the omelet was proper, lots of meat & the home fries were perfect. The atmosphere was very relaxed & calm, made for an enjoyable experience. Plus the cost of my entire meal was good, it certainly didn’t break the bank. I really enjoyed my dining experience here & I will definitely be returning in the future. If you love a proper breakfast, this is the place for you.“
