“always fast service and hot fresh delicious food. however, the employees seem like they are being held at gunpoint to be polite. they're inhumanly polite and it's kind of uncomfortable. last time i came to this store, the man taking my order seemed like he hated that job and didn't want to be there at all, and honestly, it was the first time i felt like i was talking to a human being working at a chick-fil-a. food service workers are human beings with emotions and expecting them to be so ungodly happy is insane. especially chick-fil-a workers. i'm sure they all hate their job and the customers. it's okay to not be smiling happy 24/7, chick-fil-a, if customers have a problem with it, they can deal with it. food service workers don't exist to be stepped on by everyone and left with bad reviews for not being happy. i have strong feelings about food service employees being treated like robots with no emotions and chick-fil-a is horrible at that. anyway, shoutout to the employees at the eastgate location for laughing at people trying to get into the building after they closed and only had the drive-thru open. i love seeing employees get their little bit of satisfaction at the end of a long shift be nice to the people making your food. they hate their lives. and if you tell them to get a "real job" then, nobody will be around to make your food.“

The cheese dogs were hot, delicious, and the cheese started to melt perfectly. My fiancé got his own helping of cheese dogs, and his mom got their chilli.I loved the food and my experience here! While I don't regret it, this is an acquired taste that I don't see myself acquiring. However, the Coney was pleasantly good with the sweeter chili. “I've been going to YiHi Japan in the Eastgate Mall since I was a little kid. I live further away now but still think about it from time to time. A recent review was very negative and accused this place of having changed management/teriyaki sauces/recipes and being very gross now. This scathing review had me questioning if my old favorite restaurant really was falling apart. I haven't been in at least two years and knew I had to see for myself!I just went and picked up my usual chicken teriyaki. The wait was much quicker than I expected and the workers were very kind. The food is delicious and tastes just as I remember it tasting! So no, they have not changed their teriyaki sauces/recipes, and if they have changed managers or have new staff, I certainly can't see any negative difference!I don't know what that other lady ate, but it must not have actually been from this YiHi Japan! Maybe one of the restaurants nextdoor, but the teriyaki sauce is not different. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Don't let the Karens or the fact that it's in a mall turn you off. It's fantastic.“

Once it was so fresh they didnt waste time to let the counter dry after they wipe it with cleaner before putting food on it.Of the last 5 visits, 5 were great.One prior was not so great, which is why I deducted one star.We had an incident that resulted in our burgers tasting like some kind of cleaner. We were already way out of town when we tried to eat our food or we would have taken it back, instead threw it out and called it a "whoops" as it had never happened before. Or since. We still enjoy eating here and it's always made right, fresh, and hot, served with a smile or polite staff member, no matter how busy they get.Parking: Plenty of spaces for parking at all hours of the day.“

The hush puppies were really good, I enjoyed them a lot, good flavor and crispiness but again, not dry. The fries were solid, nothing crazy but nothing wrong with them. Slaw was classic. Restaurant was pretty clean, and it didn't take long for the food to come out, given it was cook to order. Overall I'd definitely recommend, especially given they're local.“

Nickelodeon Good Burger 2 meal.. that I keep seeing all over social media and sure enough they did.. so I ordered the meal.. didn't realize it comes with a Strawberry shake.. I asked for the burger sauce on the side for dipping my fries.. and then when I opened my sandwich it looked okay.. it almost appears as if it was pre wrapped or old.. not freshly cooked or wrapped.. but I decided to not complain and eat it anyways..It was tasty.. For example the lady in front of me got very slim rice and only a few pieces of chicken, I got all rice and bits of chicken and the kids behind me looked like they could feed a family of 6.
