Used to be the trivia spot for Grandview, but they switched to a weird buzzer style and nobody goes anymore. The food was decent, but a lot of stuff was dirty and the bathrooms were old, cold water only, and smelled. A lot of damaged chairs/tables and our bucket of beers had rust multiple times. Again, we all used to go just because of trivia, but that ship has sailed.... RIP MARSHALLS :(

Do not go here. We came and the waitress did not bother writing down our orders. Our first round of drinks took forever even though there were only a few people at the bar. My food came with the wrong side order. My date asked for a burger with only cheese and it came basted in mayo and pickles. It is not worthwhile to patronize a business that won't even do the bare minimum to get your order right. Do not go here.

Been here once before and was satisfied with the experience. This second time was vastly more expensive for the same order 72 bucks for two people's dinner. Was loud, service was mediocre when you could actually get someone to have the time of day. 1/3 of the tables in uses 3 servers and still took long gaps to get anything. Didnt have napkins for most of our meal time. Tried the trivia for Thursday night was a buzzer trivia that the host wrote themselves with alot of grammar mistakes that made the questions hard to understand

A friend and I went in for happy hour because Marshall's came highly recommended. Initially, we were excited to see the happy hour prices. The menu states that happy hour is $4 every day and even includes 1800 Silver. My friend ordered the "Spring Blossom," and was very surprised when the bill came. She was charged $6.50 per drink. The drink was listed at the bottom of the page with no prices provided, so we therefore assumed since 1800 Silver is in the drink, that would be the cost. Additionally, our server informed us that certain sandwiches came with a side. She also added they were out of french fries and potato chips. We ordered tater tots as our sides and were also surprised to be charged $2.50. When we asked the server about this, she explained that she was new and that she would get the manager. Again, you can imagine our surprise when the man that came over informed us several times that he was not, in fact, the manager, but simply the bartender and that there is no manager most days. When we asked him about the misinformation on the menu, he stated that the pricing for happy hour was for shots, not drinks and there is nothing he can do, as he is not the manager. We also asked about the charge for the side and he said that tater tots are an upcharge. When we said we were told they were out of fries and chips, he said, again, there is nothing he can do as he is not the manager. As a former bartender, I was a little surprised by his demeanor as well. He was not in any way understanding and did not support the young server at all, who was brand new. When I found out that this restaurant was owned by a couple, Matt and Shannon, I was disappointed that they do not provide any support for new staff, do not have supervision or management on the premises, and deliberately mislead customers with their menus. It was not at all what I expected. The food was not well prepared and overpriced as bar food is concerned. I would not recommend this establishment for happy hour.

The "Big Marshall Nachos" were a bit of a disappointment. The chicken is so dry and shredded I couldn't tell there was chicken at all. I would've preferred a cheese sauce instead of melting shredded cheese on the chips. It wasn't terrible, but could've been better.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff members. However...Came for Sunday brunch buffet which I had high hopes for. The taco shells were sticking together and there's no traditional meat available. They brought out fresh pancakes which were very good, albeit barely warm. Other food items were only mediocre. Fruit salad quite disappointing. Honestly the best item was the granola. The Diet Pepsi barely had taste, and I sent it back. There are better choices. This is a weak 3.

This is one of my new favorite restaurants here in Columbus!!!! Service is fantastic. The ladies were super nice and informative. Our drinks were full and our bellies too. The sandwiches we had weee amazing. My Reuben is off the charts. Highly recommend if you love Reubens. We will be back. Thank you for a amazing afternoon.

Nice atmosphere, I'm sure as a bar it's better but morning breakfast I was not impressed. Coffee is good and strong but everything but my eggs were burnt and nearly inedible. Home fries maybe 1/4 weren't burnt to charcoal and hard as rocks, same with my sausage. Like it sat on a griddle pressed down with a grill weight and left for 15 minutes. Only half of it was even soft enough to bite through, like harder than jerky....

The food is always great and the service is good. The French toast is AMAZING. Main complaint is that their normal trivia host has left and the new host is not nearly as good. The new host does jeopardy style and kept allowing a team to buzz without having their answer prepared. They then took their time discussing to come up with an answer and completely dominated the game by doing this. Won't be back for trivia here anymore.

Marshalls is a great local watering hole. The staff is nice, service is good, and most importantly, the food is good!

Loved this place! Met a friend for brunch and the wait staff was so helpful, I'm choosing our food! Be warned, the pancakes are huge! Fairly priced food and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely going back.

Friends and I came here to watch the super bowl and we had a great time. We reserved some tables on one side of the bar and had about 15 people there. They have televisions on just about every wall which makes it ideal for watching some football. I also loved that they have a pool table. $1.25 a game. The space is broken up into two sides. One being the area I just described and the other primarily being the L-shaped bar. In the middle is a wall and oddly enough a man made koi pond. That was a little off putting as it wasn't decorated all nicely. Maybe they were renovating it? Overall the drinks were solid and priced well and my friends love the food. I had dinner earlier. I would definitely come here again for some sports watching.

I think updating reviews is important, especially when you're local to a place and end up going there at least a few times per year just based on proximity. Marshall's seems to have been going steadily downhill for about 2 years now - maybe it's COVID, maybe it's not, but it's entirely obvious to everyone attending. The bathrooms are dirty, dated, and don't even have warm water. For example, manual flushers on the toilets still in 2022 - makes the place seem like a dive bar. Gross. Furniture is falling apart. Everything is dirty. My last visit, we had ordered a bucket of beers and there was a layer of rust/dirt/water in the bottom of our bucket, getting all over the table and our beers/hands. WHAT? Additionally, walking up to the restuarant you're greeted with hundreds of ciggerette butts and trash/litter. Any owner/manager walking past this on a daily basis clearly has just given up. Sad to see, used to be a fun local place to enjoy breakfast or a game.

We loved this place...The interior is unique - got to love the coy pond with the cross over. The service was awesome (we had a waitress named Savannah) super attentive and very pleasant. Wifie and I both got the breakfast buffet which had good food on it not the typical quality of a buffet. The bacon and sausage were NOT dripping with grease. I especially loved the french toast bake. They know the secret to properly cooking grits also. Well worth the cost... I am so impressed that I am going to stop back for dinner...
