“While passing through to Cleveland from Chicago, we try to avoid rest area food options and seek out small diners. Village Inn Grill is just a quick detour from I90 and worth it. Great food, friendly staff and atmosphere. Located in a cute small town. Parking was limited but we found a spot around the corner.”

“Their pizza is outstanding! I took a meat lovers and chicken bacon ranch to a family gathering where family members from an hour radius all brought pizza that was local to where they lived. The Blackberry Corner Tavern pizzas were the standout! I overheard siblings making sure that other family members tried the Blackberry pizzas and didn't miss out. I don't order pizza often, but when I do, it will be from here!”

“Tried it for the first time, (I'm not from Genoa) it was somewhere along the way. It has a pretty tough competitor as Rayz Cafe is right next to it just about. But if you are looking for good breakfast and delicious dessert, R Cafe is the place. expensive, but surprisingly good quality. And they've been in business for a long time I heard. So they are doing something right. Try their chocolate chip cookies, they are homemade and yummy!”

“This is an excellent bar and grill by any standards there isn't anywhere else to go actually unless you drive 15 + miles to Toledo or Oregon or Port Clinton and then come back to the marinas here who wants to do that. All I can say is excellent , nice job”

“Subway tries but things are sliding for almost all food establishments. Untrained staff and high turn over. This makes for inconsistent food quality. A-for effort C+ for getting the order right C- on customer service.”

“A sweet waitress went way above and beyond her duty, My husband, I and our two friends went in to Waters Edge Restaurant, my husband and our friends ordered, I ask if they had milk shakes because I told her I’m having problems swallowing food down, the food won’t go down. She said so sorry we don’t have milk shakes so I just ordered a root beer to drink while everyone ate (it’s ok though) our sweet waitress whipped up milk with ice whip cream and made me a milk shake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Brought me a big cup. I said oh wow! I love you thank you!! She said it complementary. She made my day how thoughtful and sweet of her to care so much about another person’s problems and health issues. The food looked delicious my husband and our two friends said it was. Thank you! “Hands down the best wedding cake I've ever tasted. Service was just as incredible! My daughter had pies for her wedding day but I wanted to get an anniversary cake for just them. I called on a Tuesday with the wedding that Saturday, the Amaretto cake and cupcakes were ready for pickup Thursday afternoon. The wedding party raved about the cupcakes and the bride and groom adored the cake. So incredibly thankful to Mary Poppins Cake Factory- it was delicious, beautiful, fast and affordable!”
