I ordered two pizzas and cinnamon bread and a 2 liter. Service at the pick up window was great and everything I ordered was correct. The problem was that the pizza had a horrible taste to it. I have gotten Donatos pizza for years and never had that issue. It was just a pepperoni pizza but it was so bad I couldn't eat it and neither would my children and we all love pizza. It's unfortunate but every other time i've been to that Donatos in the past it has been fine.

I ordered a pizza through their app, to be delivered to my work a few weeks ago, and to give some context, it was about 2 hours before the restaurant was supposed to close. After I placed the order I called the restaurant to make sure the directions I gave were clear, so the delivery driver would know exactly where to go and not waste their time. Everything seemed to be going well until I received a message saying my food had been delivered, which was strange because I never received my food. I called the store back and asked what was going on. They told me that my food was being delivered by DoorDash and that sometimes the driver marks the delivery as delivered so they can get paid. They also told me that my food should be delivered in ten minutes. I did ask they asked and waited and my food never arrived. I called back and I was told that if I wanted my pizza I would need to come to the restaurant and pick it up and that they would remove the delivery fee. I let them know that they would remove the delivery fee because I am picking it up, but what would they do for my troubles? The person told me that he would refund all of my money if I came and picked up my food, to which I agreed.Now if this wasn't bad enough I found out later that the person never refunded my money and I had to call customer service to get my money refunded. Which took another week.Donatos used to be a great pizza place and great customer service, but they have grown too big and are not paying attention to the small details that made them a great restaurant to begin with.

Veggie pizza- not very good. Used to love Donatos pizza but not anymore. Aldo Pizza wasn’t ready at time quoted on phone.Last time I ordered a big Don sub at a different location but still in Grove City. and it wasn’t good either. Using different buns.

I ordered a Chicken Spinach Mozzarella pizza with a cauliflower crust and an Italian sub. The only edits I made were extra spinach for the pizza and extra peppers and well done cook for my sub. They were both cold, and the pizza had pizza sauce on it when it's supposed to be oil based. In fact, there didn't seem to be any oil at all. With the crust being weirdly soft.
Dear Donatos Broadway,I sincerely apologize for interrupting your staff's busy day on Sunday 11/19 @ approximately 4pm in an attempt to make an in-store purchase. I should have realized by the way that the staff didn't have time to acknowledge my existence until I walked almost into the kitchen even though 3 of them clearly saw me standing by the register for nearly 10 minutes. Even then, the young man at the window was far too busy and was dismissive at best when I enquired about making an order.Fortunately Ohio, including Grove City, is inundated with mediocre pizza joints so I was able to leave and place my sizable order elsewhere without disturbing your staff further.Again, sorry for the inconvenience.Signed,Bothersome Hungry Guy
