For those wondering, the long line at the liquor store on Saturday mornings is for the release of rare, allocated bourbon. This morning, despite camping out early, we had to wait for nearly 2 hours before being told that the store only received 3 bottles. I ordered a cake for my husband online to be picked up on Friday. When I went to the store to pick up, the cake was decorated exactly as I had asked. Later in the night when we were celebrating his birthday we cut into his cake and there was no filling inside as I had requested. The cake was also very dry. I ordered a birthday cake through the bakery online. When I picked up the cake it was decorated very nice. However looks can be deceiving. The cake was STALE and very dry it was not fresh… it was like bitting into a sponge and guests would not eat it. It was an embarrassing moment on my Bday to have a bad cake.
