El Gran Valle Verde is now my family's favorite place!!! Everyone here is always so nice to us and the food is SO GOOD!!!! The guacamole here converted a self-avowed avocado hater into a guac lover! I love their street tacos, the asada is super on point. They give huge portions! I want to branch out more in ordering but I'm still in love with the tacos. We liked the quesadilla and birria also. Also the salsa is delicious!!! Idk why there's such a low rating here on Yelp but it's wrong!! I'm so grateful for El Gran Valle Verde!!!

I love the new (early 2023) location with entrance from inside the grocery store. The food is still great, and the staff is wonderful.You can't go wrong here, guacamole, tostada, torta, chili relleno, huevos rancho are all just perfect.I was just checking my spelling against their menu and will have to try their Quesabirria GDL Taco. Crispy shell sounds great.For drinks we always get the hibiscus agua fresca (red cool aid like drink) and horchata (tases like cinnamon nutmeg milkshake, but I think is dairy free).Sometimes we stop by just for desert. Sit in the restaurant and order a Banana Chimi for a real treat. Then there is an ice cream shop by the exit. Their pistachio ice cream is the best thing I think I've ever had. The mangonadas are mango and watermelon stuffed into a cup with tajin on top, a great treat if you can't have dairy.

Moving on to the taqueria side, the queso birra is a must-try dish - it's cheesy, meaty, and packed with flavor. The tacos are also delicious and come in a variety of fillings such as al pastor, carne asada, and chicken tinga.
