The quality of baked good from The Almond Sisters Bakery is outstanding. It’s hard to choose a favorite thing, everything I bought is excellent. If I had to choose just one, the pastry cream puff wins. The pecan cheese danish is a very close second. Treat yourself and stop in soon.

This uptown Cincinnati kid does not make it outside of the 275 loop very often. So, upon the rare occasion of a Fairfield errand, I raced through the suburban motorways to visit The Almond Sisters. I arrived 15 minutes before their 2:00 p.m. closing time on Saturday. Downside -- their famous Almond Bear Claws were long gone. Upside -- at that late hour, two-for-one sale! I assembled a Sisters' sample pack comprising Red Velvet Oreo Ganache Bars, Death by Chocolate cookies, raspberry croissants with chocolate ganache, and S'mores croissants. If I meet my maker with these pastries on my palate, I will have died a happy woman. Next time, my itinerary will include better planning, more time, and a selection from their intriguingly Japanese-named coffee drinks.

My mom told me and my boyfriend about The Almond Sisters this weekend and we just had to check it out! I ended up sending my boyfriend to the shop to actually pick up the items, and we loved everything that we got. By the time he got there, a lot of the items were sold out which just tells me that this place must be a fan-favorite in the Hamilton community and that I MUST try out a ton of their stuff. My favorite thing was the bacon and cheese croissant and it was one of the best that I have tried. I find that a lot of times when places sell this, they put pieces of bacon that are way too large and you kind of have to pull it with your teeth. This place has the bacon into very fine crumbles and it is the perfect balance between bacon, cheese, and croissant and none of them overwhelmed the other. I am commuting to Miami University in Oxford this year from Mason and I am so happy to start coming here regularly and trying out more of their items (I am especially excited about the pinwheels and the espresso drinks that they have).

Stopped in to try this place based on a friend's recommendation and was glad we did. Lemon blueberry pinwheel, cinnamon roll and a caramel apple pecan danish- all delicious! Will definitely be returning to try some of the other items!
