We really like the food here, but sometimes I wish they had better side options. I don't want chips with every sandwich. Sure, they have fries and onion rings, but I've had them here and I won't make that mistake again. If they got better fries and onion rings, that would be awesome.A small complaint, but that is how I feel about them. Other than that, the food here is great and I highly recommend.

Food was awesome. I had a burger with mushrooms and Swiss cheese with a side of waffle fries. My daughter had the breakfast bowl. Neither of us was able to finish our meals. We will return!

At first I thought this was going be a wash for a new restaurant but they exceed all expectations and may be my favorite Harrison restaurant. Thank you for bringing us your great foods!

Went almost a year without realizing this place was even there. (Same shopping center where the old Kmart used to be, but kinda tucked into the corner). Great alternative to the same old chain places in Harrison and far west side. Food was good, wholesome and hot. Service was friendly and thorough, and the prices can't be beat. Can't beat that. I'll be back.

This place. THIS PLACE ♥. My wonderful dad had to bury two of his younger brothers within a span of 4 months. They both battled cancer. My siblings and I took our dad out for breakfast and want to make it a tradition. We picked The Red Squirrel and it was an amazing decision. The servers are wonderful. The menu is full of great choices. The food is delicious and you're not waiting for forever. I think that tells you a lot about their chefs too. They know what they're doing. Of you wanna take a business partner, your date/sweetheart, or a family member out some where cute for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner that is affordable, and delicious, The Red Squirrel is the place I recommend. This place is kid friendly and if you have a family member who is wheelchair bound. This place is easy to access.I paid 12.99 for a huge Veggie omlette, loaded home fries, toast, and a coffee with refills.

Same as the one in colerain twp. That one went downhill BAD when it sold, that's why we quit going there. I call it the Dead Squirrel! This location was cleaner, the service was MUCH better, and the food was the same. I like the country Ham with the combo breakfast. They don't have country ham here. Several of the girls I saw here used to be at Colerain. It was okay, but I'm a no big hurry to go back.

Small hidden staple of Cincinnati right in convenient spot of Harrison. If your looking for a local “homie” sandwich, great portion sizes, breakfast, or lunch, this beats the rest!Need more places like this in Harrison and less chain restaurants to give people a reason to visit!Highly recommend!Parking: Lots of open parking as it is hidden in small little shopping complex.Kid-friendliness: All our welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps. Easy access to inside!

I remember when the Red Squirrel meant a sandwich where the slices of bread were almost in the same zip code. They were quite large sandwiches then. My Ruben was so small, the slices of bread were holding hands, and for a price that I could have bought a pound of corned beef and all the fixings. I was full when I left, only because I ate all the chips. Nothing but carbs. Sad change, unless it's just this location.
