“We were in Toledo for the marathon and popped in for dinner. Very crowded but we got seated within half an hour. Great staff, and friendly service all around, Kim our waitress was excellent, very attentive, friendly and on point.great crowd of people. My wife had grilled mahi which came with a really nice sauce; I had eggplant Parmesan which was quite tasty. The soup was quite nice. Our mussels were good, but the sauce was just way too lemony to the point where it dominated the dish and left the mussels clamoring for attention. Similarly, my side dish of fresh spinach was tasty but way over salted (and I love salt). Apart from those little suggestions, no complaints.”

“Go! It's a tiny menu but they make up for it with the amount and quality. I had the black garlic ramen and it was so good! Big portions and meat that melts in your mouth.”

“Great place, good food, amazing atmosphere. Very nice place and although the menu was a little overwhelming ? it was in the best way possible and had a very nice selection of options. Tacos, hotdogs, and cheeseburgers are just some of what Agave and Rye offers. They do have a kids menu with plainer quesadias, but you have to ask your waiter for it as it is not listed on the main menu. They had really good music playing and the whole restaurant was really beautiful and unique with lots of classy chandeliers, contrasted by the colorful graffittied walls. The walls are so colorful! I had a great time!Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu with plainer quesadias, but you have to ask your waiter for it as it is not listed on the main menu.”

“This coffee deserves a medal. What an amazing experience, from exceptional service to velvety taste of coffee to housemade cardamom and dulce syrup ... everything was top notch. Ben made sure we were happy with every little detail. We even bought a bag of coffee to take home. I'd be back every day if we lived closer.”

“Honestly the first disappointing experience here. I had to send my steak back for being overdone. I get medium rare and it was pretty much well done. It was also extremely salty. I'm all about a crust but I must have drank a gallon of water. My dad's bourbon toffee cake had a date pit they bit down on.”
“Great Coffee Shop! Great atmosphere... coffee is very good. My wife says that the baked goods are wonderful. Classical music was being played quietly when we came. A good place to visit and read, relax, or work during the day.”

“Village Idiot is a fun, low-key dive in downtown Maumee, OH. The inside has eclectic decor all around, quite a bit of seating, large bar, and pizza ordering window. Village Idiot only serves tavern style pizzas (byo and specialties). Our group got (2) pizza to share between three of us which was perfect. One may need to wait 20-30 min for a pizza on a busy day but everything comes out piping hot and fresh. One also has to go up to the bar to order drinks but they offered a wide variety at killer prices (capt and diet: $4, busch light: $2, Two Hearted: $5). Be sure to come early for a night they have live music to grab a table and enjoy!”
“Excellent cake that I purchased. It was delicious! It was white on white for Easter. And the store is very unique. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!!”

“The place is small but the food was delicious. Good menu selection. Great humus. Had the Lentils soup and it was wonderful and warming. Ordered the Chicken Galaba with rice. Such a nice mix of flavors. Other person ordered the beef & mushrooms with rice and lemon rice soup. Tasted that too. Prices are fair and portions were good.”

“I’ve gone to almost every popular coffee house in the Toledo area and Copper Press is one of my all time favorites! The breakfast burritos are delicious and the house made desserts always look divine. The Bourbon Pecan Cold Brew is my go to and it’s superb. Service is always great and the shop is quaint and relaxing. I love bringing friends and family here.”

“Tiny little burger place with HUGE flavor. I always appreciate restaurants that have a very limited menu - because it means that every item on the menu is made with skill and care. The place really is super small, so I'm curious about dining in during a rush, but fortunately we came on a Thursday evening around 7, where the dinner rush was just beginning to taper off. Anyway, the place had good toons, clean and friendly atmosphere and good service. If you are in the area, you NEED to eat here. I had the Jiffy - a burger with peanut butter?! But yeah, it slaps! Also had the rosemary truffle fries with parmesan. Those were tasty too. I think what makes the burgers in all their iterations consistently good is the quality of ingredients, especially the beef. I'll be back for sure.”

“Fantastic vegan food. Most Mexican restaurants just have vegetable fajitas for the vegans, but Cocina de Carlos has a whole section of vegan options - including what seem to be house-made vegan chorizo and sausage. Nut-free (oat-based) vegan queso as well. I have nut allergies and had zero issues. Server was very helpful. Food came out extremely quickly and the portions were huge. In the photo is half of the remaining burrito after I couldn't eat any more. Awesome place! Very clean too.”

“What a great deal, the Prime Rib was on special, 10oz for $20.99. Advertised as 10oz but I'm sure it was closer to 14oz. The side salad that came with it was just HUGE. The portion size of the waffle fries was also huge.Parking: Street parking that was full. Lot behind the restaurant.”

“The crispy chicken sandwich is delicious! I first ate at Odd Fodder a few years ago with some friends. I’m so glad I gave them a try. The crispy chicken sandwich is my favorite! I’m a regular customer now, usually stopping by weekly for a fabulous chicken sandwich. Over the past couple years I’ve eaten there, I was disappointed only one time because the chicken sandwich was too salty. Overall it’s been consistently delicious. I also appreciate being able to order online. It’s usually ready to be picked up in less than 15 minutes. The flat fries and onion rings are also great. I’m pretty sure they make the chicken sandwiches, fries and onion rings in house, but even if they don’t, they are so good that it tastes like they do!”

“It was a great experience. Service and servings are generous. Staff is quite nice, fun and caring. Teppanyaki dinning is always fun. Parking is very abundant even on a Saturday night, it's better to call and book ahead of time to avoid issues getting a table specially on the weekends. The waiting area was quite comfortable and the front desk staff was nice, try to stay close to hear when they yell your name in the reservation, no buzzers are provided like in other restaurants.. The space is quite big and enjoyed the atmosphere.”

“We are going to be moving to the area soon, so I came here with my husband and daughter to see what they had. My husband had a cold brew and I had a latte, while our daughter had a root beer float; all delicious. The strange thing was that the boy at the counter served me a rock hard, cold cinnamon roll. I took it to one of the barista's and asked if this was how they normally serve them (I meant that genuinely, I was just confused lol). She took it to the back and said she could heat it up for me. Turned out the owner was there. He went to check on it, boxed that one to go for me and had them serve me a whole new one, properly heated. He came over to our table and apologized. He was extremely polite and even gave my husband a free sample of their nitro coffee, which my husband said was very good. Like I said, we're about to move to the area, so it really made us feel welcome and created really positive feelings. Definitely going to be coming back!”

“The Boss Hog burger was bigger than I should have ate. Fries were hit and delicious. Hubby ordered the Brisket Philly and was somewhat disappointed. Garlic toast was amazing. Will stop by again.”
