Probably the most underrated restaurant in the Heath/Newark area. I go often and always get the same thing: Chicken Masala medium with LOTS OF NAAN!

A jewel in Heath. Great food and very nice family owned business. I will be back again soon! From my experiences over the years, consistently great food.

I ordered palak paneer and naan. The naan had an old oil smell to eat. And the palak paneer was spoiled. I called them and they were arguing it was fresh. It’s definitely not fresh it was spoiled. Please be careful if you decide to eat here. They need to check what they serve

This was some of the worst Indian food I've had. I got the Paneer Tikka Masala. It was basically all sauce and no paneer. The naan was flavorless, undercooked, chewy, and soggy. I'm hopeful it was so bad because it was take out. But it wasn't worth $25.

Service was great and the food was so good! They had so many vegetarian options and got mine spicy

Booked a table for dinner at 8pm. Got table at 8:30pm. Everything was haywire like a fish market. No one bothered to take an order. Finally placed an order after calling waiter 4-5 times. It's 10:30pm and food was yet to arrive. Rates are fine dining but service and facilities are similar to Road side restaurant with no service. This restaurant is probably the worst restaurant I have been in Singapore.

I can't say best restaurant after the management has changed. Rocketry price for tap beer for 1 glass $15 plus gst Food also very expensive, even veg starters are not less than 15 to 20 dollars. I would still prefer the old management and their competitive prices. Just for 2 pax the total cost was $216, for this price I would have had a decent deal at yantra in orchard with fine ac dining.i feel the current management should reconsider the pricing and quality. Guys these are my views about the restaurant which are honest and true. I know the ROI has to quick, but not so quick to harass customers. Feels like they want to squeeze everything in the first go from us. Regards, Mohan

Very friendly owners greet you as you walk in. Had the vegetable samos for an appetizer. It was very flavorful and the sauces were also good. For my main dish I opted for the dal makhini which came with rice. I also ordered some roti to go with it. Everything was excellent and I would recommend stopping in if you are in the mood for Indian food.

Last night was the second and last time that I will every eat here. The first time was not a great experience but I thought maybe it was an off day and went there again. Mistake…. First off the female server was very nice. The male was so rude. He just came over to the table standing there staring at my wife and I. When we noticed he was there my wife asked him how he was doing. He waved her off and said no you give me your order. Instead of just saying good, what can I get for you? If you want to treat your customers like that then I will not be back and I will suggest to everyone I know not to go there either. The Indian food was not very good either. Can’t even give you enough rice to split between two people. Again I suggest going anywhere else…

Excellent! This is traditional Indian food. We tried this place for the first time and we loved all of it. We had the vegetable Samosa, bread basket, Boti kebab (lamb), and chicken tikka masala. Each dish was so flavorful. Our server was so sweet and helpful. I couldn't wait to go back while we were sitting there. We went during a slow time but we were happy to see people ordering takeout. Cant' wait to go back and try something new.

This specific location in Heath was our almost every weekend dinner spot, we would drive from Mount Vernon just to get Indian. The location in Mount Vernon just never did this place justice when we lived up there. The food always had wonderful flavor and the older Indian couple that ran the restaurant were always so friendly.I started coming to Bombay Gardens with my sister in 2015/2016 and we would always come here when she was up visiting from another state and then me and my boyfriend, now husband started going every weekend. The three of us frequented the restaurant enough the couple that ran it almost knew who we were, and the woman was basically a friend at that point. If me and my husband would go in she would always ask about my sister and would talk to us. She even started bringing us a wonderful warm dessert without us even asking. We moved in 2019 and anytime I came up to visit family I would try to stop in, even after a year of not stopping in the woman recognized me and asked how we were doing and how marriage was going.I stopped in with a couple friends last year and there was a younger girl taking orders and while the food was still better than a lot of places, you could tell it wasn't quite the same and it started to decline more the next couple times I stopped in after that. I also didn't see the Indian lady and the man wasn't as involved so it seemed that maybe their children were starting to take over?Over the weekend me and my husband stopped to pick up an order and oh my gosh. The quality was extremely poor, flavor was basically non existent. I ordered medium and he ordered hot and both our meals were just bland and tasted like some curry powder was thrown into water. My chicken in my curry was dry. Completely out of the ordinary for the little Indian place we fell in love with so long ago.I'm wondering if it's like I thought and maybe the kids are taking over since the couple is getting older, I hadn't seen the woman a few times I went last year and then again this weekend I didn't see her and the husband didn't speak much to us when we picked up the food.Hopefully the two of them are still doing okay, we are extremely disappointed in the food this time around and absolutely hate the thought of what this is going to do to their restaurant. If the kids or someone else have taken over, hopefully they can learn to make food that was as wonderful as the kind Indian couple.

We ordered 2 dinners and the food was offsetting - little flavor and the chunks of chicken (5 small pieces) was overwhelmed by a large portion of tasteless sauce. The nan bread cost $5.00 for one small portion of bread - highly disappointed - will not order from them again. A $50.00 meal that equaled a tv dinner for 2.

Every time I'm in Heath, this is my spot. If you haven't tried Bombay Garden, you are missing out. Everything is hot, delicious and makes me come back for more. The owner and family are outstanding, convincing on what's good for you and on the menu. Food is always more than I can eat, but yet I eat it all. I try to get someone new each time and honestly have yet to find something I didn't like.Get there already.

Got the butter chicken. Pretty good. Chutney was good also. Service was nice and quick.

Excellent! It was our first time having Indian food but we will definitely be back! I had the chicken tikka masala and it was delicious. The naan was delicious. My boyfriend had fish tandoori and it was delicious. We also had some samosas and you guessed it, it was delicious! The staff was super friendly. The restaurant was clean.
