Just finished my meal from Asian Express and felt the need to post something--I never really review places but this deserved a shout. I thought I'd try someplace new so I hopped on DoorDash and found this restaurant. I was so pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, well prepared, full of flavor and just simply GOOD.As this was my first time I ordered a few different things to get a sampling of what this place could do. I ordered two things from the Chinese menu (love that they're making authentic Chinese dishes). The first was the beef stirred noodle. Beef was so tender and marinated nicely. Noodles were nice and chewy, plenty of chilis and a great garlicky flavor. Fresh greens added a little crunch. Solid dish.Second, I ordered the spicy sour potatoes. Never had this before but I LOVED it. Thin shredded potato strips tossed in some kind of vinegar and chili peppers, and stir-fried. Simple, flavorful and delicious. I will order these every time I get food from Asian Express.Next I tried an American Chinese dish, General Tsao's Chicken. Every place does this a little different and this was no exception. There was a citrus flavor here that was unexpected but pleasant. The chicken was evenly sized, had a crispy coating that wasn't heavy, and it wasn't drowning in sauce--just the right amount. Definitely the best General Tsao's in the area. The Egg Rolls were tasty too. The oil used lent a very nice flavor to the crunchy wrapper and the filling was crisp and fresh. I also ordered wonton soup but haven't tried it yet, I'm too full but I'm sure that it's good. All in all, a GREAT experience with this restaurant. I will definitely make Asian Express my go-to takeout place in Hilliard. Thanks to the people running the restaurant and the chef who made my food today, you've earned a loyal customer!Try this place out, you'll love it!

Haven't been in years, but this place is great, the Thai family is friendly and make some good thai dishes to go with the amerochinese common dishes. The holy basil chicken is great.

This restaurant is under new management since mid 2019 at least, they still have the Americanized menu, my suggestion, go for chinese menu, take some chance. I've tried a few of their noodle dishes, the hot oil stirred noodle is real solid. I also enjoyed most of their over rice dishes. The intestine with jalapeno seems to be real famous that they offer dinner portion. It does deliver a clean spicy flavor but I believe they used shishito peppers instead, this actually makes it alot better than the jalapeno version. Now that I think about it, since we tried the menu from the new owners we have not find anything we don't like and keep wanting to try new things along with ordering some of our fave. Give them a try!

A small dirty restaurant. Don't waste your money here. Not recommended at all.

I used to frequent this place when it first open when I was in high school some 27 years ago. Through the years it's changed at times. I was pleasantly surprised as today I was geeking for some Kung Pow Chicken and i haven't had any really tasty KPC in a long while but this was fantastic. I don't know what the definition of good KPC is but the chunks of vegis were just right and it had plenty of flavor and spice was right. I now have a go-to for my favorite carryout dish!

I used to really enjoy this place with the old owners....even the new owners were spot on until they started delivering through doordash, etc....the last 5 times I've ordered, the food has been awful....tough meat....VERY salty....a shame. I've wasted so much money just thinking they were having an "off night"....yuk

Been here twice, first time after needing a hair cut, had chicken fried rice and egg roll. Both great, real fried rice (not brown rice) the only thing I would add id bean spouts since I like them. Good prices
Food is great! Super fast and friendly service.
