The reason I gave it a three stars is because: owner secretly charged tips without be honest tell (though she wrote down on paper but didn't itemized what it was until I looked at bill after left there. I did left tips on the table. ( But found out she already add on the bills). It has been a common problem for customers to found out restaurants add tips straight on the bills without tell customers. Then customers leave tips on the table, that put a double dipping for customers pocket. Most customers not happy with this kind of business behavior. For this particular restaurant,it lost me as a return customer, along with referral to my friends and family. The owner probably won't care lost some customers. Because there are always some one else will look at online reviews to pop in anyway.Food pretty good to be fair. That's rest stars for.**Owner replied this review and but unfortunately, owner identified wrong customers.

When I first visited my expectations were pretty low. It looks like the cookie-cutter so-so fast food place found on every college campus. I was pleasantly surprised that even though the furnishings aren't exactly homey, I could sit and be waited on and the food was freshly made with quality ingredients. There have only been the same two people working when I've dined there so the service isn't always fast but it is always very friendly and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. Give it a try!

I did not get a warm and welcome greeting upon entering. Which should of been a sign to turn around and find something else. But, I decided to give it a try and boy was I disappointed. I ordered the chicken fried rice, shrimp egg foo young, and pork egg roll. The food did not look appetizing, nor did it taste good. The food was very bland. I didn't care for the steamed or boiled chicken in the fried rice and the gravy that came with the Egg Foo Young was runny,looks ike some sort oil and it smells horrible. The Egg Foo Young does not come with a side of steam rice. I received my to go order without any condiments or utensils. Definitely not worth $24. If you prefer bland tasteless food, this restaurant is for you. This is by far the worst Chinese food I've had. #nothankyou

We came here on a regular Monday afternoon. Initially we saw the menu on Yelp and we saw some authentic recipes on the menu. But the English name of the restaurant on Apple Map seems to be a normal American Chinese restaurant.We didn't expect much, and we were expecting a Panda-quality Chinese food. but it turns out the Chinese food here is really authentic! All the food we ordered tastes really good, fresh, and authentic. The Shanghai home-style cooking is what I would like to recommend!We will definitely visit again and I would definitely encourage anyone who wants something different to try the authentic ShangHai style menu here, definitely a big thumb-up here!
