It's a little shop right beside Boyd's Goodyear. Figured i would try it out. Had a chicken dish one day and lamb the next, I was impressed. Friendly employee's and the food was delicious.

I was in the area and I found this restaurant off a Google search and the pictures of the food convinced me to make a stop. It's a small & clean restaurant in a small plaza off the main road (easy to pass) they are only doing takeout for now. Menu was pretty simple and easy to understand, I end up ordering the tikka kebab with the garden salad and rice. I couldn't wait to get home and eat, I sit in my car and ate. The food was fresh and the temperature was hot. The chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful, the best I've ever tasted, the Garden salad was fresh, the spring mix did not taste stale or watered down. My meal came with two sauces a white and green sauce which I didn't like but the white sauce probably a cucumber sauce which was amazing & I needed more of it :) I'm not sure of the women name at the front counter, she is the most sweetest woman ever, her whole demeanor was great and she gave me two additional sources at no additional charge. I will be back to try their lamb chops and chickpea dishes.

What a hidden gem in Hilliard. Carryout only during COVID. Got the lamb pita meal. Lamb was spiced and cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced for great cuts of meat. Fries were fine, but definitely recommend getting the lamb in any dish. It's a treat to try!

Fantastic, reasonable $$ and worth the drive. Go Get Some ! (Right now I believe they only have carry out. Called my order in. Ready in 15 minutes) Had the mantu which were unlike any dumplings I have ever tried and they were delicious! The salad accompanying the chicken chapli kabob (which is two thin patties not a skewer-kabob) had a homemade creamy dill dressing on the side that was light, bright, and not greasy. The salad greens were crisp and even the tomato was flavorful and juicy. ....they buy quality tomatoes, a rare and nice touch. The chicken chapli was wonderful and the green sauce is a winner. Wish they sold it ! Next time will ask for extra. The entree portions are good size. The appetizer order of lentils was very generous and the pita extremely soft and fresh. Will visit again soon to try other menu items. So happy this unique and wonderful menu is available in Columbus!

I am not used to writing reviews but was compelled to do so on Kabob Shack. Extremely good food! Out of my way but will surely return to try the other dishes they have to offer. Best lamb chops ever.

It was amazing food customer service was very nice and friendly after everything I think that this is a great place to have a lunch on the go or to stay in and eat and it's COVID safe there following all rules and tables are spaced 6 feet apart 5 stars in my book.

New to Columbus, and wanted to try something different. Kabob shack didn’t disappoint and got my family addicted, 2 times this week. My kids and I loved their chicken tikka Kabob (#1) and husband went with the chops (#5), and got the Mantu and Samaos which was done by the time we got home.

Amazing! Had the chicken tikka kabobs meal and everything was so good. Chicken was spiced well and moist. The sauces were incredible. And loved the raisins in the rice pilaf it added a touch of sweetness. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Fish and chicken kabob are great. Rice / salad are really good. Samosas are enjoyed by all.

This was my first experience with Kabob Shack and Afghan food. I had the Chicken and Rice (Meal 1). The food was hot and fresh. I am not sure how the chicken was spiced but the flavor was great.

This place deserves a try! Our orders came with great rice and a small side salad which somehow works in takeout. Their tandoori chicken was delicious and the whole taste came off lighter and fresher than Indian but not quite like Greek or Mediterranean. Even though it’s far from our house this will soon be in our rotation. I recommend the dumplings.

This restaurant is a bit out of the way for me, but remembered seeing the reviews on Yelp, so ordered take out while in the Hilliard area. We ordered the bolani (potato stuffed samosas in the shape of empanadas with mint sauce) and mantu (Afghan version of steamed potstickers stuffed with beef and I think it was ricotta, then topped with lentils) for apps. The mantu was really good and felt kind of like little lasagna bites. For entrees we got the chicken tikka legs and chicken tikka kabob. It is a big serving of meat, rice, salad, and comes with two sauces, a mint chutney one and a yogurt based one. Everything was very flavorful. I am glad I was asked on the phone if I would like the raisins and carrots on the Afghani rice, as I do not like raisins and opted not to have them. My favorite would have to be the chicken tikka legs and mantu. I would definitely order these again.
