I ordered the seafood platter, with baked potato and green beans. My biggest complaint is the green beans have meat in them. I am a pescatarian, so meat is out, the bad part is I took a bite, before I saw the meat. Totally spoiled my appetite. Plus, my baked potato was half cooked. However, the young lady that took my order, was a delight, which is the reason you didn't get all ones.Vegetarian options: Green beans has meat.

Drive thru order... No napkins or utensils, out of sauces, got maybe a 2-3 tarter sauces for a dinner n platter, but luckily plenty of malt vinegar... The hush puppies looked small n hard like popcorn filled onion bites since all yu taste/see are big pieces of onion. The fish is barely edible, if it is at all, I won't be finding out. It's under cooked fried with very little color, the chicken pieces look like over cooked fried skin thrown in a box for scraps for a pet. Guess we will be getting another dinner elsewhere..

We have loved Captain D's in the past. The last few times we've been there we have been more and more disappointed. Last evening was the last time we'll be going back for a while. The fish was not as good as in the past. So much batter you could hardly find the fish. Wanted and and paid for hush puppies, didn't get them. What a shame!

This is a great fast food place for fish and fixings. I hadn't been in for awhile but the main kitchen staff have been consistent over the years. Their green beans are very good and although they are canned they add Xtra ingredients to make them tasty. Their fish is always good and catfish is excellent.

Worse experience wouldn’t recommend. First there was an employee sleeping in the dining room. The employees were very rude and made it feel like an inconvenience for eating in. They didn’t seem like they even wanted to work. We finished our meal and we’re sitting there and the employee walked over and snatched my tray and we’re following us out the door locking up at 6. Dining room is open till 9. Don’t eat here. L
This is the worst slowest service I've ever encountered. Rude at the window, when they can't even get orders right. They are very short-staffed and the manager doesn't even show up to help. Never coming back. 45 minutes for some fish.

Ordered fish and shrimp the broccoli was wilted and disgusting I was given 2 different types of fish but only Ordered one. Avoid at all costs.

My wife & I experienced the worst service here of anywhere I've ever been..on 9-4-23 we waited over 55 min for our order (inquiring several times thru out that time period where it was) then politely asked for a refund or store credit.. the cashier said that'd be up to the manager who was out in her car. When she finally came back in I was told they don't do gift cards or refunds..I was polite but insistant & after 10 min of rudely explaining why she couldn't do that, she issued a "void" ticket & said we'd have the money go back on our card, which it still hasn't. They gave us a box of food on our way out which wasn't our order & was cold & had nasty brown grease & fingerprints/smudges on side of box. We threw it away because we questioned its safety. We won't be back & simply cannot recommend this restaurant!
