Amazing cozy place. Has great atmosphere. Family who owns it are amazing, everyone is so helpful and considerate. I’m new vegan so I was very honored to be treated with chefs special vegetable plate dinner. Drinks are amazing. They have team of servers that has been with them for long time, this makes it very authentic and knowledgeable. Loved everything about it. Upstairs and downstairs both equally amazing spots.Vegetarian options: Some dishes certainly could be ordered as we can option. Chef is happy to create something special and beautiful for your taste.

My wife and I dined here for the third time in three years. Overall, this is a great restaurant. The location and setting in the restaurant is very quaint and interesting with us, exposed brick, and wooden pillars. Our server was very attentive and did a great job with our table. My biggest gripe is the slow service coming from the kitchen. We were told the escargot would be a longer wait due to the cooking process, but it came out over an hour after we sat down. I feel this is extensive and by the time we got the appetizer, my patience had boiled over, and I didn't enjoy the food as much as I would like. The escargot, however, is exceptional and certainly a different touch with the puff pastry. I ordered the rack of lamb and was hoping for something different than my usual steak. It was good, but had a little more fat than my liking and for the price it was not worth it. The grilled gnocchi with the meal was just OK but not the type of gnocchi I like you would get at an authentic Italian restaurant. My wife had the chicken fried lobster meal and it was fantastic. It was actually better than the lamb by a long shot. This is a great restaurant, but I do agree with other reviews that it is over priced. I have also experienced slow kitchen service three times now and you just need to be patient if you want to enjoy your experience. We were in and out in two hours and we skipped dessert as we had to get back.

The food was good, but terribly expensive. I'm attaching hopefully a picture of my husband's steak dinner which is you can see it was mostly fat. The worst part was a table 2 tables away from us. They were so loud, screaming, laughing so loud it totally disturbed all the people in the restaurant and still the management would not do anything about it until much later. I'm not sure if I can post this picture of the fat from my husband's steak, but it was criminal. The most disappointing part of the whole meal was the inconsiderate loudness of the neighboring table, which we couldn't even talk to each other. It was so loud. I might go back, although the prices were horribly high

My friend and I came here for girls' night to catch up and exchange belated Christmas gifts. Our server was Kim and she was awesome! She told us all the specials and helped me narrow down the food and drink I wanted (they have a lot of choices that look really good, it's difficult to pick just one). Service was quick, the food was great, and they really cared that I'm allergic to shrimp! I'm not allergic to all shellfish, just shrimp, and I don't know why, but I've been tested like 5 times and it's always just shrimp lol. But Kim was super cool about it and I asked if there was any hidden shrimp in the dishes and she was so nice about it! I would eat here again all day any day. My friend got the special Caesar salad, I had the Chef Salad, and we split the bread appetizer. I ended up with 2 drinks - Between the Sheets was one and the second was Lemon Lavender (the exact name escapes me because it was the second drink and I have a very low alcohol tolerance). They're great on the water refills if you're a low alcohol girlie like me. And they're patient if you're also a slow drinker like I am.

One of the most unique and excellent dining experiences in the region. 140 makes anyone feel welcome and special but without any of this, their dishes are to be savored. Also, DO NOT miss having their mixologists deliver you a surprise.

My thoughts on my experience at this restaurant are mixed. On the one hand, the food was very good. Apart from a cocktail my friend had that didn’t taste very good—we were fans of everything. On the other hand, the service and atmosphere was very poor. We felt instantly judged the moment we walked in by both the staff and the patrons. We don’t exactly fit the mold of the clientele, and our server was not very happy to wait on us—despite receiving over a 50 percent tip on the expensive bill. It’s a shame because we’d love to try other items on the menu but felt very edged out and uncomfortable the majority of our time there.

I took my husband here for his 45th birthday. We had not been here before and it looked romantic. We arrived I let the owner know again that it was a very special day. Hospitality was poor!!!! They were very rude to us!! We go to many fine dining restaurants and have never been treated rude! All we wanted was a table that was open so we could have enough space for our food. We like to try a lot of things. They sat us at a tiny spot and we stared at the open table next to us. Server forgot our drinks. I guess Andy’s wife or whoever she is got into a rude conversation with us so we left. She only cared about turning tables over certainly didn’t care about customers experience.

Thank you, Andy and crew for so warmly welcoming me and showing me Uptown 140 when all the bar seats were taken downstairs! Treated so well by the staff upstairs (street level). Wine selection was great. Cheese board was perfect!

Came back here after a long hiatus. ALL the food was good, and we are picky. Ordered the following for 3 of us:Chicken fried lobster(11 out of 10)Meatball and pasta(8 out of 10)Scallops (8.5 out of 10)Also beef carpaccio, oysters for appetizers. Both great2 sodas and a beerTotal bill $210.00 not including tip.Our server was great. My only knock on this place is the seating and noise. VERY loud for an upscale restaurant. "Booth" seats are really close together. You have a servers @ss in your face much of your dinner while they are serving neighboring tables. Sit on the inside tables if this bothers you like it does me.
