“Long standing family owned business. Mostly an ice cream shop but also several food options. If you've never tried a "Jackson County Veal" (pork tenderloin sandwich) you are truly missing out! Top that off with a bubble sundae and welcome to heaven. I have been going to Michael's since I was a small kid. The consistency doesn't get any better. Has not changed one iota! They sell bubble to-go packs, which is everything you need to make your own except for the ice cream. The service is great! The ambiance is exactly what you would expect from a small town old fashioned ice cream shop“

“I like Whit’s. It’s not cheap, nor is it fancy. But this is the kind of place you go to for one specific reason. THE CUSTARD. It clean, often pretty busy, and the food is fresh. Haven’t tried much beyond the fresh-made daily custards, but they do have great footlong hotdog. Typically staffed by local teens, but they keep up. They are always polite and attentive. It’s nice to see young people willing to work, and it’s equally nice to see an establishment willing to employ them. I appreciate that in a local business.Vegetarian options: Vegetarians, keep moving. This is a custard shop. Unless you are ovo-lacto friendly, there’s probably nothing here for you.Dietary restrictions: If you are lactose intolerant, this is not the place for you. I would avoid it if you have nut allergies as well.Parking: In a strip mall adjacent to a hotel and event venue, so there is plenty of parking. Drive through is a bit confined though.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly in that they server frozen treats, hot dogs, and Mac & Cheese!“

“I haven't eaten here in years. I stopped because I was craving a burger. The menu has a variety of offerings like hot dogs, burgers and chicken. I had the #5 Combo - garlic bacon onion burger, ched'r bites w ranch and med sweet tea. $13.36 total. The burger was bigger than the bun and it was dripping with garlic butter. It had a good amount of bacon and onions as well. GREAT BURGER worth the mess!Ched'r bites are tot looking but cheddar on the inside with Ranch dipping sauce SO GOOD!SERVICE- A+++HIGHLY RECOMMEND“
