This place had a cool atmosphere, but beyond that this is the most positive thing I could say. The waitress was absent-minded and had a hard time doing her job. There were 8 people in our party. 3 from out of town and five locals. The waitress brought us our drinks one by one, in 5 minute intervals. The last person finally got their wine 40 minutes after ordering, and after appetizers were already brought out. (We surmised they ran out to the store and bought the bottle of wine while we were waiting??‍♀️)Speaking of the appetizers, they were cold and unappealing, lacking flavor. Most of the party wanted to order chicken paprikish, which ended up being unavailable, but the server seemed confused on its availability for a good 30 minutes. We could laugh about this, though, when comparing it to something out of a Seinfeld episode. The grilled cheese was more like a thin piece of cheese surrounded by a loaf of bread. The drinks were meh and it took forever to get anything. Such a disappointment. I really don't think any of us would go back. If you want to go and try their craft beers until you find one you like, that would probably be fun, but I wouldn't recommend having dinner here.

Bell Tower Brewing has a fantastic atmosphere where you can enjoy a dinner and some drinks with friends and family. As you can guess from the name, this brewery is in a very old church. The dining room and kitchen are in the original sanctuary. There is even additional seating above the kitchen as the roof of the sanctuary was very tall! They have a very nice outdoor patio area. But it is uncovered so rain would be an issue. We were there on a cold night, so even though they had plenty of portable heaters, it was too cold. The food was good and the on tap selection was large. The waitress was very knowledgeable on the drinks and helped us choose what to order! They are kid friendly and the tables had plenty of room. You were not sitting on top of each other. We will definitely be back! Especially when the weather warms up a bit!

Love this place. The 18+ taps of fresh beer is incredible. The food is the best in kent for all being made from scratch and the bar program is off the hook!

We just left the Bell Tower without eating. The hostess was nice and seated us. We waited several minutes for the wait staff to acknowledge my husband and I. Finally a young lady came over to us and sternly said Hi here is some water for you and then left our table. We waited several more minutes and the young lady never came back to our table. Based on her stern attitude and the fact no one really cared we were there, we decide to leave. First time at your establishment and was looking forward to trying a new place to eat. Very disappointed!

Absolutely a place you need to experience! Such a cool repurposing of an old church that offers some great food, drink and both private or community tables. Service was outstanding and we enjoyed everything Belltower has to offer. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area to enjoy.

Great selection of beers! The chocolate porter was outstanding. The corned beef sandwich was the best I have ever had! The fish dinner looked great and sold out early.

Can't say enough good things about Bell Tower. The food is always great, the beer is amazing and the selection is always interesting. The atmosphere is so good whether you sit inside or out on the lovely patio. It's the perfect Kent restaurant. PS, it's really easy to reach from the bike trail.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian and vegan optionsParking: Bike rack present and in a safe location

Haven't been back here in a while, mainly because the last couple times it was packed ;-) Ordered a "Brewers' Choice" flight. All beers were good ones, even the cream ale was tasty and interesting. Of the set, the "Runneth Over" Belgian Tripel was my favorite. Lots of fun things going on in this one; enough that I ordered a full pour to continue with it.It's a great reuse of the space, obviously a popular spot, and I love what they're brewing. Kent has many good restaraunts and watering holes, and Bell Tower is right up among the best.

I've been to Bell Tower probably 10 times since it opened. Parking is easy, although you might have to walk a bit. The inside of the building is gorgeous. They have a vast drink menu. That is 5/5 easily. Parking is easy. Service is always excellent. I've seen some good music.I don't drink a ton; I'm more interested in good food, although I always get a drink here. I'm a vegetarian who is closer to eating fully plant based so dairy is generally off the table. The very first time I ate here with my partner, it was an amazing experience because so much was new. I got this salad with quinoa with amazing tofu and a spectacular dressing; cauliflower bites; tempura onion ring type things; and pretzels. Over time, I tried the burger, salads, a vegetable wrap, and sides of veggies. My quip is that things don't change much food wise, particularly for vegetarians. The meat eaters seem to get specials every now and then. For those who are vegetarian and avoiding dairy, it limits it even more. I'm bored by the menu. I don't like the veggie burger or the vegetable wrap composition, so it's cauliflower bites and pretzels and roasted vegetable sides nearly every time.Great place for drinks, community, and music, but if you are a vegetarian foodie that likes variety on repeat trips, that is where this place falters.

This is the kind of local spot that I think everyone should go to! Everything is either made from scratch or locally sourced, prices are reasonable, and everything is flavorful and high quality. The repurposed church is a really cool concept, and it’s a great spot for everyone of all ages (including kids!). The beers are also amazing, and as someone who struggles to find a good family friendly spot, this is the perfect one. Highly recommend!Oh also, they have little bits of Harry Potter strewn about. Who doesn’t love that?!Parking: Parking can be difficult during peak dining time, but it’s still possible! There are also options on the street, and within very close walking distance elsewhere.Kid-friendliness: My toddlers loved the place. There is a kids menu, and it’s very similar to the adult menu (made from scratch/locally sourced), and my kids loved it!

Stopped in for drinks before going to a show at the Kent stage last week. Great atmosphere. Husband had the beer and I ordered a very well made Manhattan. We agreed to make this a place to go the next time we are in the area.
