Not only is THE FOOD DISGUSTING the OWNER IS TERRIBLE TOO! I understand staffing changes and so will the quality of the product however the OWNER should never be as RUDE let alone PUT HER HANDS ON A CUSTOMER, that’s nasty work. WILL NEVER TRY TO SUPPORT THIS LOCAL BUSINESS

TERRIBLE! Myself and my family went out to dinner for my Birthday. When we walked in the door the staff were all snobby. When we asked for lemon with our water and Tea we were told they didn’t have any lemons. There were 2 tables near us with couples who also asked for lemons and the waitress smiles and kindly says “sure, ill be right back” so, as our waitress came back to our table we again asked for lemons again we were told no we don’t have lemons. Next, our food came and it was very tasteless. My wife took a bite of her scrod and asked the waitress to take it back and remove it from the bill. The owner then came to our table very rude and very disrespectful. She put her hands in my wife’s face and grabbed her collar. At that point things escalated fast! Save your money and time and go somewhere else. The food is NOT GOOD AT ALL. Very tasteless. Not only that we couldn’t have cheese on our salad, we couldn’t have mozzarella sauce for our mozzarella sticks, it was an outdated restaurant, smelled old and looked old. Don’t go, pick a different place to eat!

Horrible experience here owner is very rude and the food is mediocre. I definitely wouldn’t spend another penny here. Trust me just drive past to the next restaurant.

Authentic German sides with healthy steaks- delicious. Could use a remodel inside, but food is great. We like coming here for special occasions.

Always super food! Portions are unbelievable and flavor is always good. I loved the fried shrimp. Also tried a bite of the lamb chops, prime rib, surf and turf and the lobster for my family’s plates and everything was delicious. Their lobster is better than anywhere else in my opinion. Simple with butter because the actual flavor of the lobster is so good it doesn’t need a lot of added seasoning. The only thing I did not care for was the sausage but that is because I am not a fan of spicy and it had a little spice to it. The decor is not fancy which is okay with me. I would prefer good quality of food over mediocre food because paying for a fancy atmosphere. Waitress was attentive and answered questions and accommodated my family’s crazy requests and preferences. If you like great food and leftovers the next day this is the place to go in Kent, Akron, Canton or Youngstown. Just make sure to check the hours or call to make sure they are open because hours have been shortened, the waitress said since COVID hard to find staff. Also no credit cards, only cash or check- always been that way for as long as I can remember. I am sure this is to help keep prices down due to all the CC fees. They do have an ATM there but you may have to pay a fee. I always just pick up some cash in the way. IT IS WORTH IT!

If you are looking for authentic German Food this is the place. So much food, I had to take some home. That never happens. Great German beer selection also.

Haven't been here in 15 years and was excited to finally get the prime rib I remembered. I figured since they are open 3 hours a day 4 days a week they would be stocked up. Guess what...wrong. in 2 hours they were sold out. Bummer. Ok well im sure the rest is just as good. Get the sirloin med rare. It came more on the rare side but I'm cool with that too. It was the toughest steak I've eaten in a very long time. As I was cutting through I felt as if I knew how lumberjacks felt. All my excitement drained. Few bites were soft enough to enjoy, probably 10 percent of a 20ish Oz sirloin. The potato was just as bad. Seemed to be a microwaved potato then wrapped in a foil disguise at delivery. Can't recall I've ever had a chewy baked potato but witnessed it tonight. The server was great though, very nice, fast and on top of her game. I debated saying something but figured it just would have ended up in someone somewhere getting upset and since I had no Intentions of returning again after that I figured I'd let bygons be bygons and chalk it up to a loss. I will have to agree with another reviewer about the leftovers (which I did take to force down since it was $30 and I'm fat). It was odd it left the table to be packed into a plastic bag, my fat, gristle and all that was on the plate...being nice I guess which is great, but was odd at the same time. After a few hours of getting home I thought I'd give the steak a few bites and it just wasn't good. I debated putting the leftovers in my tool cabinet for when I had to work on the car I could use the steak remnants as tire chalks to keep the car from rolling. I threw it away, now hoping I don't have to resuscitate any raccoons that dare enter the trash tonight. Bright side, my gf said the schnitzel was good the rest she didn't care for and surprisingly we haven't got the craps, so im happy for that.

One of my favorite places to eat when I am in the area. The food is really good and the portions are huge. The Prime Rib alone would feed a small family. The kleins shnitzel is delicious and the German Potatoe salad is probably the best I have everhad. I personally do not care for regular potatoe salad that you normally see at the family picnic but the german style that is served hot is very tasty. I have eaten there on several occassions and am never dissapointed.

I have been going here for ages. Still same great food. Steaks are still as large as they've always been. Tender and very tasty. Waitress was 1 of 2 working and she was super. The salmon is delicious and the petite Filet Mignon is so tender and full of flavor.

There was 6 in our party. This place has changed and not for the good. A couple people ordered the snitzel. They asked for lemon because that's how they liked it. They were going to charge extra for lemons. Never heard of that before. They put most of our leftovers in plastic bags instead of to go containers. They took it apon themselves to cut up one person's food to make it fit for taking home. Our experience today was very confusing and disturbing for a restaurant of such
