“Have been living here since ages but visited this gem for the first time. Everything we ordered was tasty. I have a 2 year old who is very picky in eating. Shedoes not like to eat anything, surprisngly she liked the chicken noodle soup and the smiley fries. And know what, even us adults loved the soup.The kafta, kebab, tawook were juicy and tender and rightly seasoned.Rice was a bit dry but with garlic sauce it was good :)I will visit this again for sure.“
“I have struggled for years finding: preserved lemon, za'tar, Aleppo pepper, and black chickpeas. This place had them all. It was clean, well organized, inexpensive. And had the stuff that I need to make a bunch of dishes I like (bif Yotam Ottolenghi fan...buy his cookbooks.) I will return and I will check out the Cafe portion.“
“I had the fish and it didn't taste that great. Everyone else liked there meal especially the lasagna. This house salad dressing was the bomb and the apps where great to. Menu said the onion rings where beer batter but the where breaded. We prefer beer batter. Over all I would say it was almost a 5 star. Staff was friendly and attentive.Wheelchair accessibility: The do have handicapped parking and once in the restaurant it all on one floor.“
“The food was good, I loved the seasoning on my chicken mishwi, and my wife ordered the same but with beef kaftka as well, both on rice with vermicelli. Lots of leftovers, and the bill was surprisingly low for two full entrees with homemade hummus and extra pita bread. Neither of us were really a fan of the cold Lebanese salata (basically a salad with cucumbers, onion, tomato, and a garlicky lemon sauce), but it did look very pretty on the plate.The restaurant was sort of small but very clean, and we were seated between two groups of loud teenagers so we couldn't really hear each other talk, but we can't fault the restaurant for that honestly. The folks eating in there ranged by age so it was just an unlucky draw really.Our server oddly enough was also the host/hostess, she did come and give us refills, but it took a while to get the check (and to order some extra take-home hummus), but they may have been short staffed for the evening which is common for honestly most places these days. She was friendly.We enjoyed the food and the price was very reasonable, I'm sure we will be back, might just get it for takeout though next time.“
“Think of this as Subway for pitas, only much better. Personally, I love the fact that they have multiple vegetarian/vegan options, including labeling which sauces are free of gluten, dairy, etc. Also, you can get smashed avocado on your pita for no additional cost (at this location, some differ). At Subway, that is a $2 upcharge.I first fell in love with Pita Pit in college, 20+ years ago, and now I go there because it is that rare restaurant with healthy and tasty options.Vegetarian options: I believe they have four vegetarian pitas: falafel, black bean patty, beyond meat, and hummus. Plus tons of fresh vegetables, and the sauces are labeled, if you want that to be vegetarian as well.“
“First time I ordered seen it on DoorDash I got three spaghetti dinners which I have two boys and myself I ordered grape leaves for myself. Of course I gotta share it I got six grape leaves the best I ever had and sauce on the side. “This was my first time stopping in, and it won’t be the last. The staff are very friendly. They make you feel at home and as if you’ve known each other for years. The owner is very nice and friendly. I got the lamb kebab bowl and it was amazing. Every bite was filled with so much flavor. I will definitely be back. ❤️“
