I have only been to Water street a handful of times and each time was not the best experience. Inside the building my phone never works.. while I’ve never had their food, drink prices are decent.. however they get 3 stars from me because the last time I was in there, I ordered a Long Island (my go to), but I don’t really drink soda anymore so if I can remember, I tend to ask the bartender to swap for something else and grenadine or something but before I could ask her to change it, she had already loaded the cup with coke before anything else.. now, I’m not a professional bartender but I do order Long Island a lot and usually the coke is the last thing to go in and usually just a splash.. I decided to keep it anyway.. after a couple of sips I was already over it.. I eventually took the drink back up to the bar to see if they would remake the drink for me.. I saw another bartender that I’ve only heard good things about.. I asked her with the other girl there, and instead of remaking it, they only offered to add more sours to it.. I honestly didn’t want that, as it wouldn’t do anything but just intensify the already unwanted taste.. they both were adamant! So I accepted it.. sure enough I still ended up not wanting it. That drink could have sent me into a diabetic coma. Thankfully my drink was only $4 that night so not much was lost but the service could have been better!

This is the best bar in Kent. It is not fancy so don't think you're walking into an upscale restaurant and don't go late because that's when all the students come out. However, if you want good bar food, a great selection of drinks, and a nice bar to sit at and chat with the bartenders or watch sports, this is the place. Live music on Friday night and game nights other days, what more could you want? It's also a great people watching spot. Hope you enjoy it like we do.

Good "College Bar" as the bartender said a couple times. I'd agree, everyone was laid back. Great vibes and atmosphere.Miss the College St Library, screwy Louis, robin hood, "rathskeller" but nonetheless this place keeps those memories alive and kicking, you want a good place to checkout? Well water street tavern is a place to go..

Water Street was so helpful with giving u a reserved space for a reunion. The service was so attentive to us. Food was delicious and so fast! It was easy to order from the bar and they bring out to you. Amazing experience!

I love this bar. I come her often and the service and vibes are great but tn a guy in a purpleish blueish shirt w brown hair (kind of up and spiked) yelled at my friends and I to move (very rudely) twice in different places. I could tell he was a barback and was new. Disgusting behavior but four stars for the awesome bartenders as they are always so polite. But this male clearly shouldnt be working as a bartender. Seems to be a know it all for a barback. Very unprofessional

They have a huge selection of liquor, but they don't know what to do with them. Food is average, nothing special. Bathrooms not is great condition. Came to town for concert at Kent Stage, thought it would have been busier.

This review is solely for a man who was working there last night for fake patty’s. I didn’t catch his name but he had long hair tied up in a bun and a long beard. He was super nice and when passing we told him that we just wanted to let him know the sprite machine was out of syrup and we had ordered a huge bucket solo cup. We told him we were okay drinking it but just wanted to let him know. He said thanks for telling me and walked away then 5 minutes later brought us a brand new one made right for free and let us keep the other one too. Give that man a raise!

Excellent cocktails and fantastic food. Had the porter house steak and oysters. Steak was excellently prepared. Oysters were fresh and well priced. Ty is super friendly and makes some of the most creative and amazing cocktails I’ve had. A must go in DUMBO. I highly recommend. Thursday Jazz night is great for dates and relaxing with a drink. I’ll be back for sure.
