You'd think being the best bar in kent they'd have the best bartenders. Nope, they're almost the worst. I've never once seen them smile (specifically the ones at downstairs bar). They are not friendly, don't greet you and all they say is "what do you want" with a frown on their face. I'm not coming back until they hire a better friendlier staff.

I just wish either the bar was bigger or they also had mini bars on the other tiers as well just so it’s not so crowded at the ground level main bar!Parking: If only they had their own lot as well. Finding parking here is always a little spotty

The bouncer there was unbelievably rude.I was just going in to warm up for a bit so I could spend a night busking and she wouldn't let me in because I didn't have an ID. Even worse is she touched me without consent! I hope she loses her job soon.I'm a regular at that place when I'm seeing shows there and they've never ID'ed me before so I don't get why they're IDing people now. Enlighten me, Zephyr.And why do you let the bouncers touch people, huh? There's no reason to. If someone touches me, I'm gonna punch back or call them out. This bouncer is lucky I only called her out, because I'm not supposed to hit women. But if it were someone else, I'd defend myself.Never going here again and I hope this place gets shut down soon, so this bouncer doesn't have a job.

There’s the one female bartender who’s always really mean to her guests (as if she doesn’t rely on tips like the rest of us service industry workers). Other than that, solid place to have some drinks.

This is a a great Pub! The patrons are chill and there to enjoy the time there. The night we went was 7/8/23 and there was live music on first floor, dance DJ on third floor and many people hanging out on patio. Returning to visit Kent as an KSU alum, this is a must! There are some patio games if so inclined. The DORA is also right around the corner. The selection of microbrews is excellent. The bartenders are attentive and friendly. They made a special drink for my friend celebrating a birthday. ? Also- I literally saw a bartender cutting up a six-pack-can plastic ring holder before putting it into the trash!???❤️ ?It is my understanding that The pub does not serve food outside of chips and the collab with Taco Tonto’s next door.

Not a good place to go if ur a single male. Seems like a group oriented place to chill. Group games and entertainment. Decent music. Groups never really go out of there group which is alil boring. Service workers usually to busy for conversations or to entertain unless they personally know you. Women that go here will probably never approach a man. Good place if ur a woman. Most likely will find someone trying to start conversations and entertainment.
