Wow, is all I can say! Amazing food, outstanding customer service all around great place. Highly recommend the meatballs.. it’s the holy grail to meatballs.. Hands down the best I ever had. The ricotta is soooo smooth and creamy.. my heavens amazing. Another thing that I had the pleasure of trying was the fried bologna slider… holy moly WOW!!!? If you ever have the opportunity please do yourself a favor and stop to try this great place out. You will not be disappointed ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I came in here just hoping to get a sandwich and left with the best italian sandwich I could have asked for. My dad's burger was great and the meatball they gave me also phenomenal. You can tell these people care about flavor and food. Super kind people, hope they're open again next time I'm around!

I was in Kirtland for the Ninja conference (if you are thinking that you didn't know there was a ninja conference that is because we are ninjas) and after a 2 day battle with other ninjas I was starving, so I stopped in to Down the Block. I asked the owner what I should eat and he said to try the chicken parm. Turns out the owner is an Italian ninja and the chick parm gives you special ninja abilities such as satiation, fullness, and delicious. With my new found ninja abilities I was able to defeat all other ninjas, including the master ninja who normal folk know as Steven Segal.

I'm from Uniontown and just happened to be working up that way. I saw you guys on New Day Cleveland on Channel 3. So I had to stop by. I ordered 2 bologna sliders, 2 Pork Belly sliders and the Meatballs. OMG!!! It was all so good. I'm very happy with my food. Totally awesome.

The Breaded Chicken Focaccia Sandwich is a must try. Philly Cheesesteak was well packed and juicy. Homemade Mimi's meatballs with whipped ricotta cheese with balsamic glaze and basil. Generous portions and plan to visit again to try other menu items.

Simply great food. Their pizza is excellent. Their Godfather Italian sub is amazing. And their calzones are the best I have ever had. They are huge and stuffed with goodness of your choice. The owners Frank and Mimi are super nice and deserve to be successful. Keep up the good work! God Bless. -

Ordered a medium pepperoni and sausage pizza, it was okay at best. The sausage was excellent, which brought the rest of the pie to just okay. Also, do not order the provolone sticks, I actually spit mine out it was that nasty. There are great places in Mentor or Chesterland, take the drive. Also, if you read the comments and see the way this place responds to less than 5 star ratings... Not sure how they can still be in business. I'm shocked at the nastiness of the business owners. I'm all for family-owned, but take the criticism and learn from it... Geez.

Ahoy, neighborhood adventurers! Me stop at Down the Block was like discovering a local gem hidden in plain sight! The café had a cozy, welcoming feel, like a friendly tavern in a bustling port town. The menu, though modest, was packed with flavors as surprising and delightful as a hidden treasure. The coffee, rich and aromatic, was like a siren's call to the senses. The pastries, fresh and delectable, were as tempting as a chest of Spanish gold. The staff, cheerful and hospitable, made us feel right at home, as if part of their crew. For its charming ambiance and delightful fare, Down the Block earns a hearty five parrots out of five from this neighborhood-loving pirate!

Ordered carry out on a whim. Was not disappointed. The pizza burger was tremendous! My wife got a buffalo chicken wrap. We could not even finish all the food provided to us. We ordered carry out and waited. Quick and "GREAT" service. Even brought it out to my vehicle on a frigid night. I would highly recommend going here. I loved it so much, I am ordered all my fellow work employees lunch.
