Did some walking around the beautiful village of Lakeside then had lunch at the slack house. I had a Slack House Burger on a pretzel bun and fries that were so soft perfect they were begging for a douse of vinegar. Great service, reasonable prices. Definitely going again.
Delicious & gourmet!!! Loved my burger, fries, & malt!!! Crushed my craving & hit the spot!! Enjoyed it with my family during the fall festival at LKSD, while sitting outside, enjoying the live music played that day!!! Thank you, Slack House Historic Cafe!!

Great addition to Lakeside Ohio and tasty food! Open year round 6 days a week I believe which is a plus. The only downside is that they are sometimes extremely short staffed, which can lead to longer wait times on busy days. Typically the wait time is acceptable imo. The world is short staffed, right? Be patient. I do wish the Lakeside Association (not the restaurant staff) would help with staffing issues more and also clearly post hours and days of week open.
