a great experience. we sat at the small bar on a slow saturday evening. they have a nice assortment of wine and the basic liquors. the food was outstanding. the best bread and cheese sticks in the business. outstanding mussels and penne ala vodka. among the best italian ive had. great service. and most importantly, the owner greeted us and introduced himself. he kindly asked how the food was. this is huge, because it’s rare, in our experience in cleveland restaurants, to have a small business restaurant owner talk to us and genuinely ask how our experience was. we see many owners, but most don’t talk to the customers or they hide behind their restaurant manager. as we thoughtfully choose where to spend our money, it means a lot to be treated with respect and gratitude. the littlest things can make the biggest difference

After hearing friends recommendations from years ago, I decided to give peppers a chance for my birthday. The service was awful. We waited 30 minutes before we even received our drinks, tables next to us that arrived way after us received their food. Every wine by the bottle we requested was “out of stock”.. Food was just ok… felt almost like Olive Garden, very disappointed. Waitress was very absent. We saw other waitress more than our own. I just probably won’t return.

First time I've been to this place. I ordered the peppers appetizer, which was incredible 10/10. I also ordered veal parmasean, which also was great. I enjoy my experience here and would go back.I contemplated coming because of the mixed reviews, but I went for it and decided on something that was out of my comfort zone, and both dishes were great.

Great calamari and hot pepper appetizers. We tried three different sauces and everyone liked all three, house, pomodora, and a blush sauce. The cannoli was really good. The owner was present and very friendly. It was a cute and quaint place. Just needed a little Italian music playing!
