Hadn't been in a while. It's been on our rotation (mine and my 88 year old Dads) for quite a few years. Quality of food has been dropping, but tonight it dropped pretty far (especially for a Friday). Got the Prime Rib Dipper. Sandwich is about 2/3 the size it was even a year ago. The "prime rib" was sparse, and almost burned. What got me the most was in conjunction with significant lowering of quality and quantity, was the prices had jumped hard. What we would have ordered a year or so ago for $35, was nearly $50 this time. They took a page from the fast food places, and will likely reap the same response (far less traffic going forward). I'll cook at home. Better, and MUCH cheaper.

The meal was inedible other than the salad which was quite good. The meals were so bad my grown daughter only ate the broccoli and left the potatoes and steak. My fries were without a doubt reheated from the previous day or sitting out all day and my steak was overcooked and tough and could only be swallowed by drinking water. My granddaughters burger was unrecognizable as a burger so she only had yoghurt and strawberries.Restaurant and silverware was dirty. Will never, ever be back.

This place has gone downhill. I realize that applebees isn't really synonymous with high quality, but they're not even trying anymore. Come in on a Sunday and ordered a 6oz sirloin rare, what I got was a 6 oz chunk of gristle that looked like it had been microwaved. It smelled old too, not rotten, but past it's date. Basically paid over $20 for steamed broccoli and cold mashed potatoes.

Server was very friendly. Checked on us often. But appetizer was cold. Then breadsticks were. Hard as a rock. Was told twice. The manager was coming. To talk with us. But never came.

Husband all you can eat was just that. My Mac n cheese with chicken strips was a little small for $15 meal. I ordered coffee. 1st cup was cold. It got hotter the next 2 times it was topped off. Last refill request our waitress came with a drink for my husband and the pot of coffee. She turned to leave the table when she realized she needed to fill my coffee cup. It just could have been better.

This has been my favorite restaurant for years but sad to say the service has gone downhill, our last two visits involved long waits to place our order and get our food. Both times the waitress was rushing about covering large areas, you could tell they were stressed. I hope these issues can be resolved as I have always enjoyed going here.

About 15:15, 1/20/24. Shift change. At first service was pretty good , since shift change wait person who took drink order didn't bring drinks. Placed food order w/2nd wait person. Not extremely crowded, but food not brought for a pretty lengthy time, 4:10 my estimate. Wife went to restroom after eating, I got another helping as mine was "ayc". Wife returned, I used restroom. My food arrived, wife asked for drink refill while I was using RR.Waitress brought an unknown liquid for my wife's refill and the check and said she would get another drink for my wife. I finished my reorder, wife still waiting for refill. Waitress passed by our table 2-3x but ignored us.Ready to leave, waiting for check to be picked up to no avail. Wife went to bar to pay, but told they cannot take payments. Wife waited at least 10 minutes at the bar. Eventually the manager showed and wife paid him. Left after 17:30. I was in the car and my wife did not say anything about any adjustment on the bill.I got riblets, which sound better on paper than in the real world; there is too much bone and it is work to get the scent meat off the bone. Not likely to return to (this) Applebee's after this experience. This is one of the few restaurants that we have been to that was quite busy, since Covid, and the staff should appreciate the business, and if other guests are (mis)treated as we were, I could see business dropping off here, too.Recap: my food meh, services very slow and lackluster, at best.

The food was okay. The mozzarella sticks are still great. Just nothing special anymore. Our server had a hard time coming back to check on us as he was very busy with two other small tables. But the atmosphere is just awful. It's like going to Applebee's funeral. There's nothing entertaining like it used to be. The place looks trashy. Probably would gain business again if they spiced it up like it used to be in the late 90s. Maybe one day it'll come back.
