We visited today for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. I'm certainly glad we did. The food was excellent and we enjoyed talking with the owner/chef. He grew up in Italy and brings authentic dishes to his restaurant. We enjoyed everything we tried and appreciated his recommendations. I'm a vegetarian but my wife isn't and there were plenty of choices for each of us. I'm anxious to return and try other items on the menu.

Food tasted great, what little we got. 3 adults we ordered 2 ravioli 1 spaghetti, 1 galato, 1 taramasu. Which cost $117.00 we only got 7 ravioli apiece, small bowl of pasta. The owner presents as real Italian. However, he should be ashamed for changing that much and dinners leaving still hungry.Never to return.

We had a fantastic meal for two on Valentines day! The owner is so sweet and accommodating. We ordered the pre-set menu for the holiday and everything was amazing. Even dessert was wonderful! We will definitely be going back soon!

I am torn here. I had heard about this place from others. We decided to stop in for dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and the owner was super friendly. The restaurant was clean. I had beef and cheese ravioli. My wife had penne arrabiata. We were also served bread with our meal. Again, all of the food was excellent. I really try to support local businesses and will most likely visit again. There are a few things that bothered me about the experience. Two entrees, two drinks and tip cost us just over $100. Wine would have been a great addition to dinner, but they do not serve alcohol. My wife had water and I had a diet Coke served in a can. Protein is scarce on the menu. My beef ravioli was one of the few. For a bill in this range, a salad would have been nice. This restaurant only accepts cash. There is an ATM onsite but it was out of order. The husband of another couple left his wife at the restaurant to go find an ATM. So I do feel this meal is priced high for the experience, but honestly it's the best Italian food I have had in Lancaster.

I must admit, I was expecting alot out of this place and I can truly say that it exceeded my expectations. The staff was great, the environment was great, and the food was amazing! I LOVE THE BYOB. You can expect to pay more for quality food and true passion from the owner/chef. Today was our first time visiting and I promise that we will be back many times to come!

A little bit pricey but good isn't cheap, and cheap isn't good. Hands down the best ravioli I have ever had and I am not exaggerating! Will definitely be back soon!

Stopped in and had an outstanding meal with great service. It is almost impossible to get authentic cuisine in southern Ohio - this restaurant was a breath of fresh air! We also enjoyed chatting with the owner and will be back soon.

We dined in at the restaurant for a birthday dinner. The owner Chris was so personable and the food was outstanding. The owner prepared our meal personally. It was a great evening!

"Authentic" is used loosely. Food tasted fine. However, it's just dried pasta with sauce. Nothing screamed authentic or homemade. Went on a double date and we all ordered different items. There was no protein on the menu, ie chicken parm. Food is extremely overpriced for what you get. 10-12 lobster ravioli $31. This place came highly recommended and we were very disappointed. Bright florescent lighting, plastic tablecloths, cash only. Save yourself the $ and the trip. We will not be returning.Edit: When I say dried pasta, I mean dried in a box and boiled to rehydrate. Pasta is not made from scratch as you would except from an "Authentic" Italian restaurant. Owner and chef is arrogant and rude.

The portions you get for the price are very small.Service was less than ideal.Atmosphere is what you’d expect from a pizza shop.Had high hopes, big let down.

I thought I was back in Italy! It was very authentic right down to the red and white checkered table cloths. Small and quaint. Bring your favorite wine (no alcohol sold here), and the owner will wait on you and cook your food. This place is a one man show, so don't be in a hurry. Sit back relax, and as the owner says, " Faget about it!". You won't be disappointed.

Cash only. First timers tonight. You are greeted, seated, served & cooked for, by owner. Therefore, if you're in a hurry or impatient this probably isn't the place for you. If you're used to 15 dollar dinners, this isn't the place for you. If you want an authentic Italian meal, and don't mind paying for that home made experience then try this place out. Food was outstanding. I can't wait to go back & try the pizza & desserts.

This is a hidden gem. I had the lobster ravioli and it was some of the best Italian food that I’ve ever had. The owner did the cooking, serving and bussing. Talked to him for quite a while and was really glad to be able to give him some business. If I lived in Ohio, I’d stop in all the time, but I was just in the area for a few days. Great place for sure ??
