Delicious food and excellent service. We ordered a lot of different things off the menu and loved everything. Highly recommended!

This restaurant has the best Tom yum soup! All the food we’ve had here is so good. We had crab Rangoon the last time we went and it was amazing! The service is friendly and professional. The decor is very pleasant. Highly recommend.

I actually like that the owner strolls the restaurant and starts small chats with her customers. It's not intrusive but confirms to her that you have enjoyed the meal. The yellow curry dish was amazing. Prices are more than reasonable considering the flavor and quality of ingredients.Parking: Most street parking spots are free after 6pm M-F

I purchased a dinner size chicken Pad Thai at lunch. Very marginal taste. I can best say something that was said to me once about a dinner that I fixed from my family - “I have had worse”.I had carry out so that didn’t help - I guess. On a positive note: the product was ready when I arrived. The restaurant was busy and very clean.I will try this restaurant again but I will dine in and pick a different dish.

Embarking on our inaugural experience with Thai cuisine, Mae Ploy's proved to be the culmination of our anticipation. Initial reservations about post-lunch alternatives were swiftly dismissed as each dish surpassed expectations, boasting freshness and exquisite flavors. Regrettably, the sushi fell short, marred by lackluster seaweed. While the ambiance received a lukewarm assessment, the stellar customer service significantly elevated the overall dining affair.

Well, i see a lot of 5 star reviews here and honestly, the food was really good! HOWEVER, we stopped in on a Friday afternoon, and although they actually seated us, apparently, they probably shouldn't have. We were told at 2:08 pm that we had to have our order in to the kitchen by 2:15 and that we would need to pay the tab by 2:30. We were "allowed" to stay in and eat our food after 2:30 but the rush to get the order in and get us paid up was absurd. If it was that important to be that prompt about closing out between lunch and dinner, why seat us at all? the server literally stood at the table while we read the menu, waiting for our order. he was extremely rude and even turned and walked away mid-sentence when we were still figuring out the order. I would go back on the advice of my daughter who said it's really good, and it was, but the service.... if it were up to me, I'd definitely not want him to be the server at my table. If the owner had been there that day, I'd have talked to her, because I think he may have even been the Manager! This guy needs a course in how to be nice to paying customers. Good thing tips allow us to let them know how we feel about service. The service alone ruined the entire experience for us. Party of 4 and we ALL noticed the poor manners.

Food is amazing and fresh every time. Sushi is very good and nice selection at the bar. Mae ploy comes out to every table to check on the food and customers.

After months of personal unprecedented deliberation and thoughtfulness, I have determined that Mae Ploy's is, indeed, the best Thai food in the area.Everything is flavorful and delicious. The service is personable and friendly. Prices are great. Atmosphere is really cool too (the building is an old bank).

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The owner and Chef takes time to visit each table and ensure you are satisfied with your meal. She takes such pride in sharing her food and culture with her guest and you do feel like her guest. The only thing that equals her humble hospitality is how amazing her food is. The menu has something for everyone and they offer variating spice levels on a range of 1-5. You get what you order, wether it be a 1 or a 5. All of the food is bursting with flavor and if you order a 5 it will be spicy, but it will also not compromise the integrity of the dish nor will it over power the other flavors. I highly recommend this place. You won't regret it.

The restaurant is cute and in a hopping suburban area. The food was average. The wonton soup and pad Thai (3/5 spicy) were good. One of the chefs stopped by and she was very nice.None of the food was as hot (temperature) as it should have been. The papaya salad (ordered 2/5 spicy) was so spicy we could not eat it. Our waiter was so rude, he seemed bothered to serve us. When I told him that the papaya salad was so spicy we couldn’t eat it, he pulled up his ordering device and said you ordered a 2 - it’s a different spice level - maybe you should a 1 spice level next time. He did credit $5 for the salad.I’m not likely to return.

Fabulous spot. Service was pretty terrible (hence the 4) but food was great. The chicken satay was moist and delicious. The khao soi was very flavorful. Pad Thai and eggplant stir fry were awesome. The Halloween cocktail was more sweet than flavorful but the whiskey sour was well balanced. The sushi is just ok; if you're here it's for the curry, noodles, or stir fry. There's easy parking about a block or 2 away.
