We ordered the meal for 4 option. I found the portion sizes to be quite unbalanced. There should have been at least twice as much salad and the side dish, because one person alone could have eaten that amount. Also, to split the amount evenly among the kabobs it should come with 8 instead of 6.

Food is amazing! They have a buffet in Ramadan which I loved because you could taste everything, and it was all top notch taste! Restaurant very clean as well, my only compliant is they charged comparable buffet pricing but served food on paper plates and plastic utensils. I think it should be on regular plates with metal utensils. However, I will take excellent food over dinnerware any day!

Food was not only delicious (homemade) , the presentation was 5 star. The physical atmosphere is clean and simple, but the service and friendliness are exceptional. The Afghan Grill is my new favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. My mom and I came upon it one day and we were instantly obsessed so I brought my friends there tonight and they loved it too. Tonight we had the mantoo, eggplant, two kebabs (lamb and chicken), Qabli pulao, and the dough (yogurt/mint/cucumber) drink. DIVINE! No complaints. After, the owner brought us some baklava and told us it was on the house. He is a super kind, friendly guy and a great host. I traveled to Pakistan this past year and had some Afghan food in Peshawar, and will say that the food at this grill is as authentic as you can get. It’s a clean, quaint restaurant—one of Cincy’s best kept secrets.

Went one night with three of my girlfriends we ordered several dishes off the menu to eat family style to get a good taste of what they offer and let me tell you, everything was incredible! The lamb was so fresh and tender, and everything was cooked to perfection. So much flavor. So delicious! The owner was incredibly helpful and guiding us on ordering, and the service was so warm and friendly! I cannot wait to go back again! The price was also incredible for what we got, we ordered five different things off the menu and split between the four of us. We paid $20 a piece and we were all stuffed!

Went here with my boyfriend to try afghan food for the first time. And boy, were we impressed!! It was clean and updated. The customer service was amazing! The owners were so nice, friendly, and informative. You can tell they are passionate about their food. It was fresh and SO flavorful! We got the Mantoo, bread, Chicken Kebob, and Kofta Challow. All was amazing! The chicken was so tender and delicious. And the sauce of the challow, I literally want it on everything. I ordered a side of it to go to put on leftovers. This will definitely be a restaurant that goes into our rotation. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I had never tried afghan food before and when I tried the eggplant I was in shock in how delicious it was it was definitely my FAVORITE DISH totally recommend getting that. The wife and I picked up food here a couple days ago, and it was our first time having afghan food, and it was amazing. We got the lamb shank and chicken kabob along with bolanee which was like a bread stuffed with potatoes, it was very delicious. Also the customer service was amazing very friendly. I am definitely going to be a life long customer.
