I am from out of town. When I lived in Lima many years ago, this was a good place to eat. Now, not so much. I was very disappointed in the buffet. It seemed kind of lacking. The noodles/chicken was tasteless, ham was difficult to cut, rolls were cold and hard, cinnamon butter was gritty. Diet coke tasted old (maybe it was the ice cubes in it). Salad bar was okay, but lacking in options. Even though it was $10 for this senior, it did not seem worth it. Also, the place seemed overwhelmingly large with very few customers.

We were there between lunch and supper. The buffet was outstanding! All the food was hot and delicious! The price point was absolutely great ? $10.00 for seniors. The gravy was spectacular. Chicken was to die for. Salad bar was very good, and everything was well stocked and stirred often. Our waitress was Angela B. She was magnificent! When you go, and you should, ask for her. Look at the pictures of this marvelous establishment. You will love it! Specials on Friday and Saturday nights. We will obviously be back. Thank you!

Nothing fancy, but pretty good with the small selection. I came in for dinner wanting a steak, but the online information was outdated. I settled for the buffet on Saturday. The prime rib was tasty, and having real mashed potatoes was awesome. It's worth the price, but it's definitely not as much as a selection of items as I would have liked.

We have been going to Old barn out back for 30+ years and never had a service experience like 2/10/24 6:00p. We checked in w female hostess. She reported it would be 30 min. Asked for our name and number in party. We asked her if we would get notified if in the bar. She stated she would come get us. We waited in bar for approximately 40 min. My husband went to find out the status of our table. The hostess said our name wasn’t on the list and asked if we would have given a different name. She ultimately found us a table. We seated ourselves and never saw any waitress/waiter while we were there. No drinks, no cleaning of table, no bill. I want to cash register to pay. I had to wait while 3 different people tried to figure out how to cash me out. It is hard to recommend when there is absolutely no service. No apology at any time was offered.

Ate here today. It’s a mere shadow of its former self. I loved OBOB growing up so thought it would be a nice place to meet with family for Sunday brunch. There were 12 of us. Some of us drove from 2 hours away to meet up.Food was not good. Bacon was the best thing available even though no strips were crispy. Chicken and noodles was not temperature hot and was bland with tough chicken chunks. Fried chicken was dry. Made to order omelets were not cooked properly….overcooked (browned) and were not stuffed with the selected veggies and cheese, etc.One of our favorite items used to be their cinnamon rolls that you’d pull directly from the warmer. They still have the rolls but they are sitting out and are cold.Kind of seems like most everything was leftovers from the prior week. Salad croutons were soft and stale. The pickled beets were literally brown.I couldn’t find much worth eating so definitely did not get a full meal and feel the value of food for the $ spent is poor. Also, so many of the plates at the beginning of the buffet line were dirty….and we were there right at 10:30 when they opened for the day. It was odd.Our server refilled drinks for some of us once and didn’t clear plates at all. An 18% gratuity was added on automatically, plus a 3% credit card fee for using a debit card. We generally tip very, very well but that’s a LOT of $ for bringing initial drinks and some refills (not everyone received refills). We were not a high maintenance table, everyone got the buffet, and we paid via one bill.We won’t return. This experience makes me super sad given my prior memories of the old establishment.
