I am not from Lorain, but often in the area. I have heard about this place from a few people over the years. I am a gyros and more advocate so I never tried nothing else when I’m here. I had a surgery today so I was feeling spontaneous. I hate that a waited so long before trying this place out. The walk up will capture you alone the smell fills the air. The food was beyond amazing and the portions are great. Needless to say I’ll be taking a big break from gyros and more lol.
OMG. The food is delicious. Ordered the pernil and the guineo escabeche. Plus took an order to go of carne guisada & yellow rice. The husband and wife team are awesome. They chatted up a storm with us!
I think the food was good it was very tasty the pernil (spanish pork shoulder) was a bit fatty but what meat there was was really good. The person taking the order had a hard time understanding me a patron had to help me out but did eventually get it. I think their menu is a bit unclear and convoluted and could use some updating or clarification but other than that it works. It's a humble little place you can eat at but it was clean I only wish they didn't have such short hours...read full review
