For the price, location, and ambiance the food was woefully under par. I had the Osso Bucco and it was bland and the grits (polenta) were obviously instant. Bishops quarter's shank is way better infact every restaurant around is better.

The food lacked flavor and presentation and the dishes were not warm. We had to send dishes back and received tmr replacements that were undercooked. The waitress was not welcoming and nothing about it added to a the special occasion we chose to celebrate at this restaurant.

We were very excited for this meal but it fell a bit flat. Portions are very small. The flavors were there but some things lacking on execution. We got the Brussels sprouts and they had barely been roasted - very chewy. My husband got the Bolognese and while the pasta was homemade it was soggy and over cooked, almost like noodles in a soup. There was very minimal sauce on either of our dishes. The best dish was the calamari- delicious. We would go back but hopefully we just didn't get them on the best night. Bar was nice as was the bartender and hostess was prompt and seated us quickly and in a great spot. Overall would rate a 7/10

Just a very pleasant evening - our table was near the bar and the bartender was our waiter - his special Manhattan is a favorite of my husband and he makes a great martini too! his recommendation of the lasagna was excellent. We weren't rushed and felt very comfortable!

Thanks for nothing, Enoteca Emilia! You advertised Valentine's Day brunch for today (Sunday 2/13) on Facebook. I made reservations for myself and my mother ages ago. On 2/11 Open Table texted me to make sure we were coming. So today, we drove 33 miles from the West Side of Cincinnati to try out your great restaurant. Very exciting. And guess what? You were closed. Dead closed--not even a sign on the door with an explanation. Our lovely Sunday brunch turned into ice cream around the corner at Graeter's. Followed by 33 miles back home. If you had to close, why didn't you bother to notify those who had reservations? We're just a phone call away. Actually, a 66-mile round trip away, if you don't pick up the phone. You won't see us again.

Amazing food, I got the special which was salmon with pasta and it was to die for. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice sit down dinner. Was not too busy either on a Friday night.

I felt the food was average. Two of the four dishes did not have a lot of flavor. The lasagna was served cold and was over cooked. The server although polite and welcoming must have been new. One of our party Ordered the house Chablis and the server brought red wine. This person just let it go rather than send it back. Just an OK experience. The parking lot behind the restaurant was difficult to find.

This was our first time here. We loved everything about the experience. Service was GREAT. The only thing we noticed was that the portions are a bit small. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

Everyone is so nice and accommodating. My parents go there once a week and the staff are all so kind, even know what the like yo drink. The food was so good, had the special Bronzino. Worth the visit

I was a first-time customer and had no idea what to expect. My guest was a return guest with rave reviews. The charred bread in both the Sixteen Bricks Bread and Pan Formaggi "Cheesy Bread" was burnt. How do you differentiate between charred and burnt is open to interpretation. I finished neither apps so that is my litmus test. Next was Cacio e Pepe, pasta with cheese, pepper, and butter. The pepper was a little too strong in my opinion but I did finish it. If I had no references such as Rodi or Pepp & Delores here in the Cincinnati area, I might well have given a higher review. But given the excellent experiences with the others, the best I can give Enoteca Emilia is a so-so review.

We enjoyed the New Years Eve menu - it was a delicious meal. The Chef layers flavors that make each course a treat Very sophisticated food in a low key environment One of our favorites in town

Prix Fixe New Year's Eve dinner was outstanding! Delicious and generous portions for each course. Our Server & Bartender was delightful with recommendations. Highly recommend!

Wonderful New Year's Eve date night with my wife. Ambiance was amazing and service was outstanding. We did the 4 course New Year's Eve experience with the wine pairing-absolutely amazing. Food was out of this world, from starter to finish it is hard to decide which was our favorite. It was great we could both order different things and were able to share and taste multiple dishes.

Great location on a corner of all windows with a really nice atmosphere. The staff are so nice and welcoming. Wait staff is very attentive and they all do a great job working as a team to run food out as soon as it's ready. We tried the Bolognese, a mushroom and pasta dish, and their lasagna. They have a northern Italian flare to their dishes and their red sauce is excellent from scratch sauce. The Lasagna was some of the best I've had with braised short rib meat infused into the layers. Well balanced and every bite was perfection. The Bolognese was served over home made wide thick noodles that were very good. The mushroom fettuccine was light and filling. Portions were perfect, not too small and not too large, just right. We also tried their shrimp appetizer which was very good, just be aware you get 2 shrimps, so, fine for two people. Their bread was also very good. Cocktails were very well made and balanced. I would only suggest they consider shortening or changing the name. While I get the meaning, it's a tough name to remember but other than that, an excellent choice for a great dinner anytime. Next time I'm back down from Cleveland, I will definitely have to work through the menu!
